She has a very distinct sound to her playing this etude which is nice, but it seems like she's rushing some parts too much and too many notes are skipped

Shutup boomer. You do it.

Yes many mistakes but this is an extremely difficult piece so even that she is a great pianist and very difficult to achieve this level, she only have to polish a little bit. I also would like to hear stronger notes on left hand. But love it anyway ❤
@bludika2 ай бұрын
@@ideasytops yea, this etude is notoriously difficult, no doubt about that. I agree, just some refining in her playing and it would be great, and yea the left hand is a bit too soft imo

Good but way too soft. Couldn't produce a powerful blend of sound. Still a nice performance though.

That mellow, soft voice quality makes her version quite interesting. Less "martial" than other interpretations.
@Sam-nb1rm2 ай бұрын
@@csongorhajna5702 You are right in some sense. I can see a group of audience who would really like a softer version of Chopin. The opposite in my opinion could be Ashkenazy. Sometimes he's too "martial" and powerful. This one is mellow and kinda sounds like a noctourne.

@@Sam-nb1rm yes, and I like Ashkenazy's version a LOT, too :)))

Chopin played quietly himself. Not Richter-style. He preferred to play in salons as opposed to concert halls. He is recorded by his students as having a gentle, fluid touch.
