Right now with Close encounters being used a huge amount by Ana and Leland, one Family character comes to mind that can counter this which is Sissy and the Spore Loser Perk.

I been running this build even before the patch...the biggest downsides are indeed the grandpa perks and family members leaving lobby when you pick sissy. People don't give her a chance.

Been using this build before the update & its a game changer. I knew this would become the new Sissy meta. I run 30sav & 28 endurance it is brutal. The perk "Linger" also allows u to poison victims mid chase🔥 u have to be close enough to get a hit but use poison instead & it will hit them

Before it was arguably the worst because of lack of fired up, least amount of attributes, and victims before not really doing CE, now that’s all they do it awesome. I use serrated tho, that’s damage that builds up and can only be healed with empowered but since bones are not infinite, n a noise ping attracts other family it’s really good. Personally I use it with serrated n that makes a lot of ppl faint, combined with toxic poison. Now im thinking the universal donar /scout side might be the least picked idk yet, going in the middle for damage and points in the middle. Always been sissy’s builds either spore loser base build, damage build, or blood build and rn the posion spore looser build where it at. Hope they buff her tho, wall gaps fixed, maybe an increase in base stats like 15 savagery instead of 10 and maybe stamina 27 not too much but enough.

@@SuperBabyMario0C i feel like not being able to poison through walls is fine bcuz it still helps. the perk "Linger" is gonna be the new Meta for sissy. Spore loser is good yea but now that people are catching on & most time wont fight Sissy, so Spore Loser is hit or miss its good but u dont always get that value. Ill switch spore loser sometimes if i feel like they're not gonna CE.

I noticed that yesterday no one was tryna CE sissy so I went o damage build then suddenly everyone was grabbing 😂. N no I disagree bro a glitch not intended for the game is not a mechanic and should be fixed that’s weird to let a broken thing stay broken. How many time do couldve spoisoned someone running away to a gap and not get dot damage is ridiculous couldve killed so many already n used to it a lot. 3 months later is wild especially since it’s been brought up to devs. Pls bro lol don’t make me angry about devs taking they sweet asss time to fix and address anything I wanna forget. But between us the games dead asf no way it’s going past august. Theres many times victims go through gaps i use my poison then continue chasing them they never go back through the gap bcuz they know they'll hit the poison & get caught. Sissy is a "Advanced" character good for stopping loops. The poison through gaps was kinda 2 OP victims already dont have CF so keeping up isnt hard. Any good victim is not gonna go back through a poisoned gap thats Why Linger is crazy good with the increased cloud duration plus Linger the poison last for 1min10sec. If u think the game is dead, dont play it simple. A lot of people still love this game & is still very fun Sissy is perfect rn

I want to report if one of the Family has the grandpa perk Suffocating Grips and it gets activated, then it applies to *ALL* family players. Yes, you read that correctly. I wasn't so sure if a comment I read mentioned that Suffocating Grip effected all Family until I played as Sissy and Hitch had the perk and fed Grandpa to activate it and I won 2 close encounters after!

@@JohnKratoson - Did you even bother reading the perk's description? The description for Suffocating Grip is that it should only affect the perk holder, not all the Family players. That's why I made this comment. This perk can help deal with the Close Encounters changes.

So I play on last gen xbox .... and yes it's just like what you assume bullies and nothing but bullies I've been matching with new players and against bully victims My build with sissy goes like this : Blood banker , sore loser , serrated Attribute points : +5 to Harvesting +18 to Savagery (Stamina if you like) Grandpa perk : Suffocating grip Ability : level 1 increase cloud duration Level 2 increase poison duration level 3 Toxic cloud You basically feed grandpa to activate the perk and all the way to max lvl doing that will draw bully tryhard victims to stabbing him you need to blow poison on grandpa and stand next to him if you see a victim slash him and with him being affected by the poison you're forcing him to close encounter you Guys ngl I was by my self and killed 3 victims just by doing this I won all 3 close encounters go ahead try it folks!🤗

The que times aren’t that bad, when I use to play evil dead I had to wait 10 minutes to get into a game which was super dead, TCM only takes a few minutes, it’ll be popular every time they add new content but who knows how long they will add new updates for.. it’s also free on game pass

I’ve picked up a trait of checking who’s chasing me before grappling because a significant amount of pc players are using macro

I'd much rather run Vial-Ent, Rubber Legs and Spore Loser as a grapple counter. The 20 percent speed decrease means you'll catch up to victims before they can reach safety. I just ignore Grandpa feeding with this build, you can get good damage per hit if you put lots of points into savagery. Serrated, Feral and Spore Loser is also great for high damage grapple countering, it's the build I'm running correctly. Probably her strongest Spore Loser build overall, gives you more AP (25) as well.

My only issue here is if they are Running Empowered. They get 50 health back everytime they win a CE. It basically cancels out your poison damage.

Well if someone finishes the encounter super quickly you know it's grappler and if it takes longer then they're using empowered ( maybe) so you can chase someone else but it's always a gamble

What i have noticed is how survivors can lose the close encounter EASILY if they are poisoned anyway. Posion claws or powder, however it has to be before the close encounter.

The new close encounter changes made every family player spec into savagery, and in turn any victim not specing into toughness (either to progress objectives instead or simply trying something different) is getting deleted in 3 hits. 😢

Because connie can use ability first to get rid of the lock instantly, if you use it before the battery you're slowed and with the choose flight nerfs you will have 0 stam unless you're spec'd into it
