I just want to say thank you to Sister Briege for her prayers. I had been ill for over 8 months and barely able to get out of bed and was homebound. I had gotten a severe case of shingles, then flu like illness, and then covid and my immune system wasn't very good. I came across Sister Briege's events posted on KZbin and was able to watch a Eucharistic Healing service she conducted. I am just so happy and feel blessed to have found her. The Lord guided me to a few things to help me and I was finally able to get back out to Mass and Confession this week and am just so happy to have received this healing. Thank you, Sister Briege, May the Lord bless you and keep you! I am also a Secular Franciscan. Love, Patty

@excavtrooper Thank you for your thoughts.This reminded me of something my best friend, who is an Atheist, asked me once. He said " what if there is not a God" and I replied" then I have nothing to worry about, but if there is a God, you have everything to worry about". I am not naive enough, or without a brain, I do not believe everything the Church teaches, but I definitely believe in Him.

a) A "just God" means He gives to men precisely what they deserve (I don't see a case for humanity deserving more than basic necessities and the grace to be good from God - men can work with that grace or against it) b) If God wanted to commit genoicide, we wouldn't be talking right now, God advocates peace, and child-killing is a secular practice (a.k.a. abortion). c) go outside look at a tree or a friend or someone you love - no way a monster crafted these things.
