I ADORE Mimi❤ Ppl always talk about how cute Kiki 🐈is but Mimi is an Angel, she soldiers on and loves her babies even though she is very frail at this time. In truth she fell pregnant too soon after having the trauma of the stillbirth and raising Kiki. I have never seen a cat with as much maternal love as Mimi when she was raising Kiki. I worry Kiki will hurt the delicate kittens, she doesn't just lick them she bites also..😕I just hope the owner has consulted a vet about Kiki's nursing from the teat and how that may prevent the newborn kittens getting the nutrition they need to grow.

Kiki is like "I know what to do, mommy kept me so clean, I'll help!" don't forget, eight months ago, we were concerned that Kiki wouldn't survive and look how strong this little baby is! People need to stop panicking over Kiki's behavior. I work with rescue cats and these three little babies life is equivalent to a trust fund baby staying at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills compared to being born in the wild to a feral mom. These little babies are very healthy, very well taken care of, and everyone just needs to relax.

Biologically, Kiki is old enough to be a mother. I don't think it's because she remembers, I think it's because her mothering instincts are kicking in. Female cats just know. Cats in the outside world, the females form colonies and take turns taking care of each others kittens. The younger females learn how to mother by helping out. What looks like rough play is really a way of teaching babies to be respectful and does not hurt them!

@Virginia Cantrell, since there are 3 kittens to care for, they urinate on the blanket. Mimi smells it and licks the blanket just like when she's cleaning their bottoms. Our Little Kiki is too rough with her siblings. If she WAS Hurting them, Mommy Mimi would intervene. It's OK. We're getting to watch what is normal in the kittie world if Mama has more kittens, and a kitten from the previous litter is around. It's really sweet to watch. Our household had this experience about 35 years ago. So precious.

@MMC, folks have probably forgotten how Mimi was with squiggly Baby Kiki!! Sometimez it may gave looked like she was being rough with Baby Kiki. I remember decades ago when a wild street cat deposited her two tiny kittens in 2 different areas of our front yard. I ran them to my Vet, who said they were 1 1/2 weeks old, AT BEST. I was instructed on what to get, and how to bottle feed them, EVERY 2 Hours!! I was also taught how to simulate (with a little washcloth and my fingers) all 5he lacking that a Mother cat does with the babies. All that lacking us ACTUALLY To Stimulate their body processing the milk they drink from their mommy!!. By the time they have opened their eyes, they become quite squiggly!! Sometimes you have to almost lasso them and hold them down to do the VERY NECESSARY Stimulation of their little body to process their nourishment! Our Little Kiki knows what she's doing!! I giggle in "hearing" her say, "Come here, you!! Mommy did it to me, now I'm doing it to you!!"

You can tell Kiki gets overly excited and the nibbling and light kicking starts. Mimi was rough with Kiki outta the box too. The Love these felines have for 1 another is amazing. How can a kitten raise other kittens? Its like a 10 year old child raising up a 3 month old baby...I think Kiki is not raising up those little kittens but she thinks they are playmates for her:) Because she is raised alone, with not other kittens of her age, she lacks 'social kat' skills. Kittens learn social skills by playing with each other, with kittens of the same age:) But now, the playground is open for Kiki... But that is not good at all for those 3 little ones. They can not indicate their limits yet, they are too young. They learn when they are going to play with each other so they get the same resistance, at the same level:) This is way too early for those 3 little ones to be with a 7-8 month old kitten, who has never played with other kittens.

You are right about the older kitten being kept away from the younger ones in these videos. Still, the older female is probably not 7-8 months in these videos because everything on these channels is old, and they never really disclose when any of this is happening. These video titles are likely just a way to get people invested in and used to thinking about this older kitten as a mother so that when it has kittens, the people that already do not question these owners' motives will be programmed to go along with it.

And the additional problem that she lacks social kat skills makes this an unhealthy and unnatural combination:) The bigger, general problem nowadays i think is that most human beings are looking and caring for animals with their 'human being glasses' on instead of looking at the nature of the relevant animal species:)

​@@GertjanvanderVeen I agree that no matter when this was, the other kitten has no business interacting with the smaller ones; the timeline issue for me is more about how the owners are dodging the point of getting these cats fixed. They keep using the excuse that the mother is nursing for not getting her fixed, even though that has nothing to do with getting the father and first kitten spayed and neutered. Some people are worried that the first female kitten might get pregnant by the father, and the tone of these recent videos is already playing up on the idea of the younger female "helping" raise these kittens, which, as you said, is anthropomorphizing these animals to make it seem like they follow a human family structure. The mother showed biting and aggressive behaviors with the first kitten because it seemed like none of these cats were correctly socialized, which was passed down to the first kitten. Overall I have never felt like these owners cared to learn anything about raising cats properly, and I need help understanding why they are intent on having so many of them. At one point, I thought they were attempting to be breeders. Still, the fact that they played up the health issues of the first kitten and needed to train them properly makes it hard to believe anyone else would want any of these cats with the problems they might inherit and develop.

Not often i have seen that kind of biting and agressive behavior against an own kitten...i also thought that was a little strange. So it is not strange that the bigger kitten is now showing that same behaviour against the younger 3, you reproduce after your own kind:) Don't be surprised if this channel(s) is here for money, that is what came up in my mind, especially after the things you have said. Those channel(s) have much subscribers, views and likes, which means the silver fleet comes in. Cat and kitten video's are very populair. So i wouldn't be surprised if this is about money, especially with kitten video's because then you are getting into the emotions of people. That would also make sense why they want more kittens and keep them...

Kiki and her siblings look too cute... giving viewers strong emotions.. Now, Kiki is taking good care of her younger siblings - with the quite proficient, quick and meticulous movements ( almost like her mother) - which she did quite clumsy.. not too long ago!! Why?! Really, Kiki with the natural instinct of a smart, agile, obedient kitten . Was well trained by her owner who an expert in cat training.. trained her in a not long time - has reached the level of taking care of baby kittens.. as it is today.. Thereby helping the mother cat Mimi to Rest and Sleep More. This is the Goal that the owner must Achieve to Ensure the long - tern health of the mother cat Mimi during the period of raising newborn babies. The owner is really great !! and it is commendable for dear sister cat Kiki .

You must be watching a different video to me, Kiki is clearly biting the kittens, you’re quite rude aren’t you, and for your information yes l did have a cat many years ago, and if l had been in the same position as the owner l would never have allowed the kittens to become distressed they are far too young and cannot yet defend themselves properly.

KIKI is very brutal with the baby kitten, she bites him or her, she seems to be playing with a toy, she has to be careful, they are still fragile. KIKI be nice my KIKI KIKI will surely be a good MUM 💙🤍❤

j'espère que votre mère ne vous mordait pas et que vous même ne mordez pas vos en fants parce qu'ici la fameuse kiki joue !!!! elle mord pour de vrai !!!! et cela vous semble normal pour l'ensemble des gens qui commentent !! c'est terrible de ne plus savoir faire la différence !!! et personne ne lui apprend !! cette petite chatte et folle .. sa mère ne l'était pas moins envers elle....apparemment seul le mâle à l'air normal jusque là !!
