Boy oh boy. I'm sure this topic has hit home for so many women. I think most women have settled for a situationship at some point in their lives especially if they are over 30 years. I have been in a couple of those situations my darn self. But GOD is good and introduced me to someone who wanted to claim me as his girlfriend and wife and I have been married for 20 years now. When a man wants you, they show you. PERIODT.

Good morning Sisters. Ok, I just watched the "situationship" clip. I agree that we have settled too often. One of my dearest, male friends say I ask for too much. I have non-negotiables; Has to be a strong, christian man, meaning, he didn't just get saved yesterday, and can lead our home, non-smoker, comes to the table with more than a fork, healthy communicator, allows me to still do me without him feeling less than. I tried the app a few times, and each of them that got at me were scammers trynna get my money. I might need y'all to show me what I'm doing wrong. But for real, I know he will find me when God says so, but I would like to date without the strings to have fun with someone. I'm tired of my pastor being my emergency contact..,ijs

Yessss!! We feel the same way as man. We feel and hurt just like you. Don't be afaid to say what you want out if life or what you want out of a relationship. Ppl but so quick to say oh she/ he is a situation no it's call situationship why bc y'all in a situation that's involved like a relationship but it's a situation . See if you don't tell him/her your does and don't you just gone be a situationship. Don't settle just bc you have to noooo. Date and explore life. Don't be a situationship type if person. A situationship should never go past the 6 month mark. Before 6 months you're getting to know each other, evaluating red flags and see if someone's relationship material. Past 4-6 months that's when the relationship should be official. Until then you guys are just friends.

I do not believe in multiple dating, yes! getting to know men and women while I'm at the store or wherever. People these days may be strange, our emotions get involved, and just one or two or three may involuntarily follow a woman home without permission, or begin that stalking thing. So for me, healing is good, me taking me to the movies, to eat out and the like is good, and then I can see clearly, over time, that I have seen this person enough, and may have heard their conversation, and someone has said very good things about them, and continue on that path. Some people share women without the woman's knowledge. Day by day they meet until the exchange is seen...for reasons. Love and respect yourself, and, early, bow out when you see "coo coo for coco pops," while not calling them crazy, though no one wants to meet up with the devil. Don't be one, and back up from one. Good Couple Hunting. I hope God chooses for you.
