After some ladder "research", I found that the new hybrid mech/drag 5 drop (that give +10 attack do units with divine shield) can crush lobbies, specially if you manage to go for a reflecto/mechamurloc build. It has just so much tempo that the rest of the lobby going for undeads won't have time to scale and you just murder people. If no mechs but dragons in lobby, bronze guardians can stall pretty heavily for you to reach tavern 6 and stock up on the new reborn 6 drop. And of course, there is always Nadina and the new 4 drops that removes reborn/taunt. In this case although I did not scored #1 in any of the games, I still managed to grab top4 in all games. Please play this doge doge!

For nerfs, I think they need to make Anu'barak a Sixth Drop, he's just too good. Maybe bring Colossus down to Tier 5 to compensate. Sister Deathwhisper could probably be nerfed to +1/+2 and see if that helps at all.

@@flithbrin lol yes, just like they did naga. But just like with naga, some cards are fine. Though TBF, they had to go so far as to fully delete some of the naga cards before the tribe was finally on par with the other tribes, so maybe they'll end up deleting some undead cards too

probably +1 attack deathrattle. +2 attack is insane since you can never outstat it.

@@Jcdlf7 Maybe, I'm just not sure that +1 deathrattle would be worth even playing the card. Maybe if it was a four drop. Then again, it could also just make it more tactically sound to run Rivendare in your Undead comps to get the +2 back, because right now you don't even need Rivendare lol

I'd also argue Eternal Knight could go to a 1/1 to start. It scales extremely quickly already.

I did stumble on a build that worked great vs undead. 2x magmaloks 2x master of realities and a hogger then cycling pirates. Every card played adds 6 stats. Hero power was 1 gold next turn for every card sold.

I think a big enabler is the 4 drop Giving reborn. Idk maybe its okay if they nerf everything else.

Maybe it could be a battlecry that lasts until your next turn? That would give the tribe a little more thought since you have to target and time the buff. I think tweaking the tribe elsewhere (anub + 6 drops) could reign it in but idk how they can really nerf the 6 drop that summons eternal knights without killing it

When your opponent isnt running undead they die. If they do but everything is reborn on /1 hp, all that matters is how many reborns and hp you have and not the ammount of attack you generate. Sinrunner is crazy broken for that. Reminder it also saves enchantments, so basically has a Tarecgosa-like interaction. Give it divine shield = 2x shield, cuz again on reborn. Due to the reborn, every hp you give it is basically doubled as well. At this endgame it said 69hp but in reality it could as well say >150hp on any other minion (cuz you gotta kill it twice, it can tank 2x overkill damage).

Dog complains about his luck being bad a lot in this video. But I posit that his luck wasn't any worse than usual. The problem is, no build EXCEPT for Undead is good right now. So the only way to play right now is to hunt for one out of five minion types and ignore pretty much all of the others. That's why the game feels like you're unluckier than usual atm.

I don't think it's the only good tribe, the best right now is Froggers again... still it's kinda hard to build, but because no one goes for it you have free units, plus baron got buffed, it's pretty much Zap or bust, also there's still infinite pirates, although is close to impossible because tempo is needed, and undead is indead the tribe with more tempo right now, wich is a problem...

It's not a QA issue, making the new minion type broken on release is totally intentional. It's a marketing tactic to raise hype, bring back old players and ultimately increase sales. They'll nerf undead into the ground in a week after everyone is sick of playing them.

pirates always had that unlimited scaling capability but it took a while for people to start playing it i think. But yes in the beginning you have a higher percentage of getting the new tribe. And both quills and naga were extremely broken in the beginning.

APM is also very strong if 2 of pirates, elementals, and murlocs are in the game. Magmaloc can get crazy big in the mid game and transitioning into optimal murlocs (including divine shields) can beat undead. By and large though every other tribe is dead

One of the ways to counter putricide and undead as a whole must be to have empty boards when they start having battle buffing minions, such as the one that spawns eternal nights, sister deathwhisper and anub'arak. Just 1 or 2 battles where they get low or no procs should totally screw up their tempo

0:35 doesn't matter how much money the person asking about the pass makes. Dog can still give his opinion on whether or not the benefits of the pass is worth the $10. As an example, regardless of how much $ someone makes, they can still say $50 for a Big Mac isn't worth it, whereas $2.50 for a Big Mac is a good deal. The $2.50 Big Mac is a good deal no matter how much money someone makes so just answer the viewer based on perceived value of the pass benefits vis-a-vis the $10 cost.

A 50$ big mac isn't worth it because you have other options. The pass gets you time and more enjoyment, for some people that's worth 10. For others they can just get another game

undead are definitely the best tribe rn, but you can absolutely still win the lobby with a nice set up for other builds. I've won with Theo, goldrin, frogger (notably shits on undead tbh), and nomi. Lots of top 4's playing random piles of non undead tempo too. Mechs are still a great top 4 tribe
