No words, with what elegance, honesty and commitment she has served Pakistan . She should have been rewarded first by the Pakistan before Belgium. She is the join in the chain who induce Pray, Work, Smile with sheer truth in the life of the students of Sacred Heart Convent producing an outclass persons with good manners and a well behaved pure heart citizens. Specially the institution who produced great mothers. There is no comparison what Sacred Heart Convent has gifted to our Nation with the current big organizations who are making money in the name of education without manners and knowledge of values........ Sister Martin is just like a mother to us who is contributing with devotion to develop these Pakistanis into a Nation. We salute her and pray to ALLAH for her health and success of both the Worlds - Ameen.

I would like to share some memories I have of Sister Martin. I was a 14 year old student at the Sacred Heart convent when she first came there with another novice nun, Sister Edmund Campion. I was present at the ceremony in the convent chapel when they took their final vows. I remember them both vividly. They had so much enthusiasm and commitment to their work and made a huge impression on me at the time. I left Lahore to live in England in at the end of 1960 and had no news of either nun after that. It was a very pleasant surprise to come across the interview with Sister Martin. Despite the passing of 63 years she was instantly recognisable and her delightful personality was unchanged. I would liked to have contacted her but sadly, shortly after seeing the interview I learned of her death. May she rest in peace.

A little tribute of thanks and love for our dear mentor Sister Martin, I know Sister John, Sister Conzaga and Sister Martin, while my daughter studied under kind wings of Sister Martin and Sister Saba. Losing Sister Martin, is a great loss for she, like other sisters of Sacred Heart was a great asset for the school and students both. I can never forget smile of Sister Martin along with her magnanimous soul and kind heart who took us under her mentorship. Her acts of kindness, loving heart is something that we would cherish always. Her teaching and principalship is something that we have learned a lot from. It is only with heavy hearts and loving prayers, that we can part with her, perhaps in this world only. Her presence and Heartfelt prayers are things that we would always miss. My words still cannot express the relationship that we had with all 4 sisters. May the departed souls rest in Peace in both the worlds and the ones who are here carry the legacy of Sacred Heart in the coming years. Amen.

@@sheebamasood7656 unless you went to the school and the classrooms yourself you have no right to say this is true or not. your daughter was one of the fortunate ones who were not beaten and abused for simply existing by emotionally frustrated women. do not invalidate my experience just because your daughter did not suffer emotional and physical trauma!
