Sister Martin De Porres, a 91-year-old British nun, has served her entire adult life educating women at Sacred Heart Convent in Lahore Pakistan. Her selfless life of devotion has been recognized most notably by the government of Belgium, in the form of ‘knighthood’ in the order of the crown. She has touched so many lives across multiple generations and left a profound mark on her former pupils’ personalities. She’s a perfect example of an unsung hero for our youth. This video celebrates the simplicity, humility, and selfless devotion which are the trademarks of her life.
Today in Mango Stories we’ll be paying tribute to the Sister Martin who devoted her life for the sake of Education in Pakistan and her contribution to promoting women’s education in Pakistan is her biggest gift to this Country.
