SURE, SURE, AND SURE. Lizzy did the right thing by closing the old chapter and starting a new one. She can still love them from afar with enough peace that can fill three long trains or me. Now, Bella is not solely to be blamed as her cherished parents sowed the seeds that bore the fruits in her. Let all three of them remember this episode for the rest of their miserable lives. We will always reap what we sow. I hope this could be a lesson well learned for parents, teachers and the likes of this World.

Oh yes she did. I am a wife and a mother and I would never treat one of my children in such a heartless and careless manner. A mother should love and respect her children equally. Her job is to raise them as a strong family unit, by stressing the importance of unity ,love and support in the family and the result of division and favoritism which could lead to emotional pain, discard, and disunity among siblings. What do you get when you spoil one of your children and treat the others as if they don’t exist? I guess you reap what these parents got, embarrassment, pain and shame. Very interesting and so very educational story.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Lizzy did the right thing. Her family only apologized after the other people started speaking up for Lizzy and saying what a wonderful person she is. The family didn't bother with her for years, not caring what she was doing or what happened to her. They were only trying to save face in front of the crowd. Later on they would have gone back to their evil ways and tried to use Lizzy to make Bella look better. After she worked so hard to make a life for herself, she didn't need them to ruin her peace.

It's unacceptable how Lizzie's family treated her...sad really. Some parents are stupid! Thank God Lizzie overcame it all and made a life for herself! Her decision was good for her. She needed her peace of mind, not pretenders who now want her because she's successful!❤😂🎉❤🎉

It easy for bella parents to over look her and not supporting her the choose bella because she was to well even wants help further education but when it come to lizzy for them it is waste of time to spend a dime on her but lizzy overcome challenges and become what she is and show everyone even but bella to shame after terrible Joke and now her parents say they are sorry and by saying they are family but lizzy achieve something without their help and has a career it best that she stay away bella did show her true colour lizzy don't need a man for now.

What she did only shows that she was worse than her parents and sister. Also she was the younger sister and even if her parents did that the fact that she had struggled and developed herself it only showed that she was empty and lacked knowledge. She could have ignored her sister and later spoke to them outside the crowd.

Nah, she didn't do the right thing. It's all sweetness and light in a story, but real life doesn't work that way. We don't get to choose our family, and be it ever so dysfunctional, your family is your family. The same people who she thinks can replace her family will eventually turn around and call her cold-blooded for her callous decision to cut her family off. Does she think her story is unique? She will discover that her story is one of a thousand similar stories. Her family might be bad, but she's no better for not being able to show them the path to righting wrongs. She's a deeply hurt person hiding her gaping, oozing wounds under the garb of professional success, and sooner or later, she will realise that professional success doesn't keep one warm at night. Yoruba bo, won ni: eebu alo n'tahun, t'abo n'tana e!
