I've had the ult fail to cast a few times. It may be annoying, but it's hilarious to see Kerillian panic dodge and jump while just clapping like she's lost it.

Just wanted to mention that her staff/finger shoot at 7:08 shoots 4 projectiles not 3 . 1 for each finger and you can see 4 ~25 hits in the combat log on the side. It does look like 3 at a glance but shoot it into a wood wall and you can see all 4 stuck in the wall and 2 are usually closely stacked like an AN-94. She air pianos her hand and shoots a thorn from each finger.

Been looking forward to this since I learned of this DLC yesterday. I stayed clear of radiant inheritance in my few games of her so far as I didn't know what "Increased combat potency" actually meant. Will definitely be picking it up now though.

She is so much fun, but is absolutely gonna get nerfed, especially Inheritance cuz its busted. I kinda want to avoid that talent altogether because I don't want to get used to it before it gets trashed. I've had fun so far using Incandescane+Morai-Heg+Heatsink Deepwood staff, since the extra ult charge from Incandescence and the guaranteed crits on ult from Morai-Heg means practically infinite stored crits, and combined with heatsink means you can disable a ton of specials/elites without any overcharge cost at all. This of course comes at the cost of damage/sustain since you're sacrificing Busted Inheritance for Incandescence, but it gives you crazy amounts of control in fights, being able to neuter entire patrols and special waves with just your staff. In its current state, it's probs still not worth taking over Busted Inheritance, but it might be worth running in preparation for the inevitable Inheritance nerf. Either way, great vid, elf gaming.

Hey Partyknife! Nice video and as always amazing intro and very well structured. I wanted to share two builds I am currently using and testing with Sister of the Thorn: 1. Boss killer Build: Sister of the Thorn as a lot of percentual damage increases at her disposel. When staking all of them you can achieve incredible boss damage that even equals that of Waystalker piercing shot builds. First you need to take the javelin and equip the Hunter trait and crit and crit power for properties, next take concoction on the charm with critpower and attackspeed and shrapnel on the trinket. For talents it is essential to take mainstay, radiant inheritance, morai-heg's doomsight and blackvenom thicket. If we add everything together and execute it properly the following buffs are applied: first cast the ulti twice for radiant inheritance, 20% more damage when the wall disapears and 6 guaranted critical hits, which we will use to trigger hunter on the javelin when we trow it, next we throw a bomb for shrapnel and drink a potion for concoction, we kill the target by spaming heavy attacks on our melee weapon. 20% dmg (shrapner) + 20% dmg (wall) + 25% dmg (hunter) + all radiance inheritance buffs + speed and strength potion buffs + 20% attack speed (swift slaying). With this combo, we only need to hit a Chaos Spawn on cata a few times before it dies. 2. Hard CC build: usually CC is siennas field of expertise, but with this build Kerillian can have single target CC that is way better than any other in the game and really benefit from the wall. We need to stack power and power vs for cc duration and the staff must of course be equipped. For talents, go isha's bounty, enhanced power, pale queen's choosing and ironbark thicket or blackvenim thicket for the ulti. Power vs skaven and chaos must be rolled on the properties of every equippement possible. Isha's bounty should have more or less full uptime and the cc duration should be incredible with the leftclick ability of the staff. Have fun trying out these builds and thanks for the video, greatings from Austria! P.S.: A friend of mine tested things with the new sienna staff and discovered that you can stack multiple burn effects simultaneously (actually only the one from the staff and the one from the fire sword), this is tested and true I have seen it. My friend found nothing on reddit or bugg fixe patchnotes about this and is confused if it is intended or the community is even aware of it. It shurly makes coruscation staff by fare the best staff for ligering flames. Did any of you know about this? Please help me get behind this.

if you go heat sink for deep wood staff you can use free lift by crit talent even it well not crit

Party there is a trick to one shoting any boss with sister of thorns ulti Things u need for it to work 1) u need to use either ult 1 or 3 doesn't work for number 2 for me it hasn't actually worked with number 2 so u can try 2) u need to pin some how the boss near a wall and then like change ult position click f it like pushes them inside the wall killing them instantly or trapping them inside the wall.

Noice. NB with Isha's Bounty is still great though. Her passive also just makes NB better for everyone, more utility out of NB. I feel like this changes the balances between NB and Barkskin.

i agree on you moonfirebowbuild to take the no ammo consume talent, but without the moonfirebow "Repel" is really stong. It is like a massive shield bash every time you push. I use it with dual daggers so you can fight hordes easily, also have great armor dmg, also only have 2 stamina shields (less shields is better in that case) so if you loose em you are faster on full shields to push again. You only have to take stamina reg, and BCR of course, but the best....you can interrupt every special only with a push !! kick off assasins, and even interrupt leeches, try it out man.

Nah, 3 free crits per *any* ult, including teammates, is too good. With Heat Sink it gives loads of free shots with the moonbow or deep staff and with a melee it allows you to quickly kill an elite to get back loads of thp. Why bother pushing at full stamina when you can just levitate them for free?

Seems like Stab-attacks (spear, javelin etc) go throught the thorns. Makes it kinda safe to stand inside that wall and attack from there. Doesnt work quite on Bosses apparently

Sienna's staff AoEs go through it too. I've been using Coruscation Staff to set up loads of fire pools behind the wall, and the AI stupidly just stands in them waiting for the wall to go down.

Loved it. Hopefully they will tune her down a bit (a lot I mean) so it is fun for other players too. Fighting a boss or two as a team is fun, when 1 hero dps the boss and the horde and the elites, rest of other players are there as her extended HP pool or just to pretect her. When we have her in a team we run 200% twitch, so we can balance it out :) The only good thing out of this patch was the Jav, I love it, they should do the same thing to the throwing axe, chopping and throwing. Jav on Waystalker with bloodshot is awesome.

Bloodrazor Thicket can oneshot CWs on Cata afaik :D also the Blackvenom Thicket debuff stacks with shrapnel if Royale with Cheese is right ^^

The new chaos frame makes your job easier to make level 2 elf videos. It covers the level of the hero. Maybe they checked your videos and that's why they made this.

I've been doing 1/3/3/1/2/2, this gives me 9 crit atks in a row after triple casting thorns. It's slower on bosskilling, but has much better horde control and general play. Using javelin with inc dmg to armor class and dual swords for horde kill (+atk spd on crit). I feel the extra cast lets me always have these buffs and I can drop the crit % from my items for crit power.

Her Career ability blocks all dmg including melee atks, grail knight ult etc. Kinda annoying to deal with if players don't know what they're doing. I dub thee Kerillicuck.

No, not all attacks. Any melee "stab" attacks go through the wall, so all of the briar wood javelin's melee attacks and the spear's stab attacks (or Saltzpyre billhook stabs). So you use it in a narrow corridor then stab through it, piercing multiple enemies. Sienna's staffs give through it when doing a "AoE" target, such as the Coruscation's fire pools or conflag's stagger explosion. This makes sienna really great at CC and damage when SoT stalls a horde, elite, or monster.

For me, cosmetics only appear in commendation chests (the gold ones). I dont get cosmetics from normal boxes. Some cosmetics are locked behind challenges or paid DLC though, so double check them.

All I ask of the elf players is to please stop putting your non quick ult into faces of your team mates. I have lost count of how many times I saw that go down in the last few days and it never once was helpful. It was normally distracting as hell, and occasionally led to strange pathing that got people hit when the situation was already well handled by front liners.
