While her mom visits/stays with Jessi more than her father does so her spending time with her father makes sense why she and the episodes are focused on her and her dad more than her and her mom.

It is most likely because Jessi's mom actually comes to korea more often than her dad. Basically she has not had as much time with her dad at all since coming to korea, but has had alot more time with her mom. her mom was even in the audience when jesse preformed during the finals in Unpretty rapstar. She has so much more lost time with her dad vs her mom. Ofc I do not know why that is, but my guess is that it is work related.
