Even if you are white, if you disagree with anything she said in this clip, it's just an indictment of how racist you are, whether or not you see yourself as racist. Complaining about her anger, I don't understand that, how can you be a moral entity and not be furious at the impact of white supremacy here and globally?
@atlasshrugged2u10 жыл бұрын
Wow! Das what I'm talkin bout boo lol! Glad to see you on the page brotha!
@mrcallofdutyman110 жыл бұрын
what are you talking about? Maybe black failure around the world may be their fault? I know i'm crazy for thinking that in your view, but if a white man is poor usually people claim he's stupid, incapable etc, when it happens to a black man, it's white wickedness. OMG these white folks they have the power of cursing blacks without even moving a finger, isn't that amazing? Listen the truth is that races differ in intelligence and biology, that's normal, it's called evolution. Some people just are not born to be physicists or scientist or engineers.
@darkflower210 жыл бұрын
Cristian T. You say all that as if it's some enlightened conclusion that you've come to independently of any context. But institutions with your philosophy and mindset have always existed, and for a long time had the power to bring their mendacious beliefs to fruition. And it worked in a large degree, as we see the cumulative and self-perpetuating effects all over the world. But what's amazing about us as people is not that so many of us are crippled, but that so many of us have succeeded and continue to survive, despite the best efforts of people like you in positions of power. Do each of us as individuals have choices? Does personal responsibility have a place in this conversation? Yes, absolutely. But just because you don't believe in reality, can't grok history, sociology, or economics, doesn't change the fact that each of those things are very real.

Rikaya Partlow I'm three years late in responding to you but still nothing much has changed and nothing much had changed from the time you posted here and the twenty or so years before when this scene took place. That's the problem; articulating what's needed for for pro-Black liberation is nothing new, it's not new now and it wasn't anything new when Sister Souljah articulated it here. The NOI was articulating this back in the 1930s and Marcus Garvey before then. Blacks have never had a problem talking the talk with passion, but putting that talk into action and making those spoken tenets a reality is where we have come up short for the more than 250 years since slavery was outlawed.

Because if she leaves she feels like she's running away instead of fighting for her people HERE in the U.S.A. Why is it that people always resort to that tactic? Leave the U.S.? When the fight is right here? The government is a problem. Rather be a citizen of the country fighting for change and be called a terrorist than go to another country and be labeled a terrorist.

I grew up in Oakland, & perhaps don't know about the rest of the country. In reality no country has a moral conscience, only some of its people can have that. Perhaps of course all the civil rights things that came out were due to concerns by intelligent men that some might go communist, or nation of islam, You have given root cause of black racism as a cultural reaction, but then are you expecting whites to take some kind of higher moral plane?

One can stand up for one's people and fight bigotry and injustice without "scapecoating" entire groups of other people in order to make the world a better place. I also condemn white racists and bigotry in anyone's message or in any Social System including our own. All you need to to become a bigot is a lot of ignorance and a little bit of mythology. Stop the Hate.
