I don't let anyone, including women my age, dictate what I'm "supposed" to wear. I ENJOY my clothes! They are an expression of me and my personality. I too have cut WAY back on what I take home. I have too much😅 So, like you, I concentrate on quality. I don't buy anything I have to put effort into (hemming, reparing cleaning stains) either. Anyhow, just wanted to say hello!👋🏾

I am a thrifter and I find a lot of nice clothes, shoes, purses, belts, scarves and jewelry..you name it! The goodwill does not put out dirty clothes or shoes to sell. I wash or dry clean everything I buy. I spray the shoes with lysol. I enjoy going to my local Goodwills. I know which has the best selections. My family calls me the goodwill will queen! 😊

Aside from finding some really great things for my kids these past few weeks for myself I’m making it a goal to find statement pieces this year. I never realized there were so many thrifting locations in my area. Lol not the church shout. You never know what you may find. I believe I learned that google image capture from you in another one of your videos and it has really been a game changer when I go shopping. 🌹

I 100٪ agree with what you said about fast fashion over buying over consumers and the thrift being flooded with fast fashion brands. I do think the hauls are trends and who know if they just return it all but it makes those watching feeling like they need to click and add to cart.I'm challenging myself to a no buy this month because I got alot of things last year most thrifted but also quality designer items from small black and female designers. But if it doesn't all fit in my closet then it's a problem. I do purge regularly. But yeah focusing on more quality vs quantity this year.

When people say something about trying on things in thrift stores, as someone who used to work retail, I remind them that major retails take your returns, including intimate wear depending on the store (luxury stores do and most often lower price point stores do not), take your returned items and hang them right back on the rack, retagged and all🤷🏾‍♂️.

I am a thrifter and I love thrifting. People make thrifting look bad. Most the clothes are not dirty, don’t have bugs and so forth. If that was the case people would never thrift. Forget those upperty people. Thrifted clothes and other items look like you just bought from a regular store. Please don’t let people tell you how to shop. Yes I try on clothes at thrift stores. People better be mindful, because they may have to end up in a thrift store on how these days and times are. Thrifting is therapeutic to me.

People ask ridiculous questions. Why asked someone why they trying on dirty clothes? If that’s the case ALL clothes are dirty, regardless of whether it has a tag on them or not. Someone tried it on, and place it back on the rack. I put mine in the cleaners, before I wear them, or the washing machine.. I love thrift shopping. We’re in Japan and I love this one store (only been here 7 mths so still searching) I’ve purchased so far a Burberry shirt for under 40 dollars, a vintage Burberry trench for 36 dollars, an LV preloved Brazzer wallet for either 1115/120 dollars among some other clothing. I’m here for it💕 new subscriber. I love coats also, blazers, bubble long coats etc,,,

Hmmm doesn't seem that you guys came across too much on this trip. I try to stick to geniune leather items when thrifting. I have picked up Shein but I do try to stay away from thrifting things from fast fashion unless it vintage Forever 21, etc because the quality was better back then. Well, young lady you serving some Gr8 advice this thrift haul? Bonus! I just thinking on a lot of things watching KZbin videos that been providing inspiration that I have in my accumulative wardrobe that I have not been using and 2023 is the year I pulled them out to style and get me feeling better about being 61 can be fabulous.
