Probably not "informed consent", but it was consent when the OG3 women agreed even thought they did not know any better at the time due to the way they were raised. Once they were allowed to interact with the outside world and learned differently, they each realized the abuse that had been put on them and their children. They absolutely didn't consent to that!! The restructuring of the beliefs they held to their new understanding is a tough road to travel.
