Look online for the oranization you are considering. They will have the guidelines and if you have further questions ask a chapter/branch in your area that is active.

When you have graduated college You pledge the graduate or “grad”/ Alumni chapter. My hubby is a member of Omega Psi Phi. He graduated college and pledged grad chapter many years later. I have several friends who pledged grad chapter in various sororities. They just didn’t have the time to pledge for different reasons while under grad. Grad lines normally are older men or women who are established, have families, etc......

I just came across Sister Circle and find it a very positive, encouraging and uplifting platform. However in this segment I couldn't help but notice Ms. Johnson's body language. She seemed instantly annoyed by the report and comments on R. Kelly. In this profession I feel you need to learn how to disagree, with being agreeable. As a show that is based on empowering women, she could have made a statement, w/o offending her friend Mr. Kelly, by giving a simple head nod in response to Miss Quads tenacity, or women being strong comments. Being a host to a platform such as this trying to uplift women and form sister bonds, you have to learn to find a common ground on all subjects imo. One thing Chante Moore said bothered me during her visit that some of the grown women in this case, speaking on R. Kelly, didn't go into this handcuffed. True. However, neither does every abused wife go into a marriage knowing her husband will become abusive. Nor does every woman go on a date knowing she may end up raped. What I'm saying is that every situation is different, and how one may become a victim differed also. Whatever the case, the person who chooses to victimize another human is always the culprit. Abuse or mistreatment in any form is wrong. This case reminds me of the debate ppl been having for years about prostitutes and rape. Because a woman choose to sell her body and a client decides to beats her and forces her to have sex it's her fault? Anytime force, and the words stop or no are used in a situation, the outcome will have a victim and a criminal. AGAPE'
