heyyyyyy Yana that fresh retight looks amazing. i soooo love your hair😍😍😍!!! glad that you get a chance to use a new shampoo i hope it works well for you....and yes please do a braid tutorial. My consultant hasn't gotten back with me yet on the brand if shampoo she uses. i know its not a sisterlocks shampoo though. i just finished the last of my starter shampoo now i am debating on what to buy next. i guess i will find out when I talk to my consultant and see what she says. i will keep you updated. thanks for sharing 😆.

Paul mitchell tea tree shampoo....Thats the shampoo she uses in my hair. I still use the Sisterlock starter shampoo at home but i am all out now. She uses paul Mitchell when she washes it.

i just got my locs retightened yesterday. i love that fresh neat grid look but I'm tender headed and the next few days my scalp is so sore. your locs are gorgeous!

I've got two weeks before my next retie. We had to postpone it because I got a new work assignment. It's my first time off my 6 week schedule. I cannot wait to get in my consultant's chair.

Melissa Stuckey I have used the salon shampoo twice so far, my hair seem a little shinier. I haven't noticed much improvement in my scalp yet. I think the longest I have gone without a reti is 7 weeks. It was a hot mess lol.

Your locs are gorgeous and neat!!! I used the starter shampoo, and it makes your hair super dry, but at the same time it definitely encourages the locking process...(my hair took about 8months to lock) maybe try using a different shampoo first to clean, and then the starter shampoo 2nd dilute it with a little water and then spray it (a little goes a long way)...and i personally don't like any of the SL products...even the conditioners dry my hair out, so i just use oatmeal or goats milk bar soap and coconut oil or olive oil or Shea butter to moisturize...(i probably wouldn't recommend the oils and butters while you're still locking, but try making your own products or using African black soap to wash...i hope this helps...new subbie on deck!!! Angela Elaine I have the suave clarify shampoo, I have used it twice within a year. I only use it when I feel like my hair is really dirty and the sisterlock shampoo isn't going to get it clean. But I'm trying to stick with what my consultant says.
