Your locs are gorgeous 😍💕👍🏾 I’m 6 months in my Sisterlock journey and because I’m a lazy lazy lazy 😂🤗 natural, pre-Sisterlocks, my hair is washed every 5-6 weeks w/ my retie by my consultant. I plan to take over my washes starting in April or May. I do have the Sisterlock starter shampoo to use when I take over. I have heard that the starter shampoo doesn’t work for everyone, although most times the issue is that it isn’t being rinsed out thoroughly and can cause dryness, flaking and scalp irritation. I haven’t had any issues with it to date so if I start having issues when I take over, it’ll most likely mean I’m not rinsing well. Like you, my scalp feels clean and buildup free except for my natural oils…. Indeed best hair decision ever! ps I’m in Georgia as well 🤗

The best decision I have ever made as well. My locs are 12.5 years old. I have made 3 big chops and my hair is still to my behind. Liked and subscribed.

I treated my loose natural hair the same way I take care of my microlocs. I don't use products just a shampoo, spray bottle and my favorite oil. Less seems to be the key.

Your hair looks nice. Make sure you don't manipulate your ends too much because often that is where the locking process starts. ❤
@LaLaShantell762 жыл бұрын
Thank you. How do I know when it starts to lock.
@jpbjpbmarchand2 жыл бұрын
They will Start to feel hard and thick. You will not be able to see the interlocking pattern anymore. They may give the appearance of a tight ball at the ends but that means it's starting to lock 😁 I'm 1 year locd😃
