I’m looking for advice about sister locs. I’ve been studying and looking at videos about sister locs. I’m trying to decide if I want to get them. My goal is too to get them when I turn 60. I am on 59 at 58 I gave myself two years to make the decision on whether or not, I was going to do it when I turn 60. My concern is my hair is thinning especially, on the top and I just worry that the locs will break my hair off in the front. And the maintenance will I be able to maintain them so that they look nice and grow.

@MsLoveofmoney oh ok. Got it 👍🏼 Yes, I recommend you wash your hair before you get under the Steamer (this is what I personally do as well). Steaming penetrates the hair shaft, and for that reason, you would want to have clean hair and a fresh scalp. Steaming is a game-changer. You and your clients are going to love the gift of steaming.
