Sisters Born 4 Years Apart on Leap Day Celebrate Their Birthdays

It only happens every four years. These sisters celebrate their actual birthday on Leap Day, February 29th. Eliana turns 12 and Eveyln turns 8. “They actually enjoy celebrating their birthday together,” dad Chad Croff tells Inside Edition Digital. We first met the Croff family eight years ago when Evelyn was born. In honor of 2024’s Leap Day, Inside Edition Digital’s Leigh Scheps checked in with the family.

No 😂 it literally would just be the day after whichever days before ...the 1st of March. All in all its pretty irrelevant we go by YEARS not days 😂😂😂 anytime I'm asked my age, I've never once replied "I'm 12,357 days old" and yes I calculated mine for the fun of it 😂😂😂 (4/20/90)

My grandfather was a leapday baby. I finally passed him in number of birthdays just before he passed away. I was 24 and he'd had 23 birthdays 😂 he always had fun with that. ❤

Being born on 29th February has to be annoying because you can't age until the next 4 years.. I wouldn't want a child born on the 29th Feb because I'd have to tell them - you don't have a birthday until the next 4 years.
