SM doing SMCU (SM Culture Universe) so they want to giving a hint for their new project, the woman in the last part is BoA, one of sm's greatest soloists which will comeback soon. The story behind the MV is the æ-versions of members and the normal versions of members connect via SYNK, which got destroyed by the black mamba. The black mamba can be thought of like a computer virus. The plot may be about trying to defeat the black mamba and fix the SYNK.

The group makes their debut alongside their own “ae” avatars, a concept serving as the label’s first project in its SMCU (SM CULTURE UNIVERSE) vision for the future of entertainment, “aespa will project a future world centered on celebrities and avatars, and will be born into a group of completely new and innovative concepts that transcend the boundaries between the real world and the virtual world,” said Lee Soo Man, chairman, SM Entertainment. So, Black mamba is the villian. It is keeping the girls from fully connecting with their AI selves. So, the storyline will be the girls trying to find a way to reunite with their AI version of themselves in their two separate worlds.

There are some special terms they are using in the lyrics. So "æspa" is you + your avatar (your æ): the sum of all experiences in the real and virtual world. SYNK - is how the users and their æs communicate with each other, probably an app like LYSN, SM's current fandom app REKALL - the time the users spend with their æs FLAT - the place where the users could co-exist with their æs, as shown in the æspa SYNK, Karina teaser NAVIS - is the artificial intelligence (AI) operating system that connects æs with their real-life counterparts. 나비 is pronounced nabi and the meaning is "butterfly". Also shown in the group name: the "æ"-ligature is looking like a butterfly. KWANGYA - the virtual "wilderness" inhabited by the æs I really like this concept!

The last scene of TAEMIN from SuperM's "ONE (Monster and Infinity)" MV, where TAEMIN pulls out a dual screen mobile phone and a logo appears on its screen. That logo was AESPA's logo! Smart SM!!

I recommend KDA and their new album "ALL OUT". Fun fact, League Of Legends (the makers of KDA) don't claim copyrights for the reaction video ^^ 2 fun fact. KDA is a virtual group, like half of AESPA, except that everyone is virtual there and people put their voices. Soyeon and Miyeon from (G) I-DLE put their voices to 3 songs from KDA :)

Just like EXO, aespa's debut sets up the whole group concept and storyline. LOL, yeah what a debut, but I wouldn't expect anything less from SM. Remember how epic EXO's and SuperM's debuts were? 😉 If you remember, in SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)", in the last scene of the MV we see Taemin with that LG phone and on the phone there is a symbol that appears. At the time, when that MV was released, we had no idea what that meant. However, soon after that, we discovered that the symbol you see on Taemin's phone -- ae -- is actually the logo/symbol for aespa. It now looks as though the end scene in "One (Monster & Infinity)" was meant to be a teaser for aespa's debut. Aespa is a four member girl group whose concept revolves around the fact that their name means "Avatar experience" and each of the girls has an Avatar character, so they also are superhero-like beings. Which makes me pretty confident that SM is working on pulling aespa into SuperM/EXO's storyline and making them part of the whole group concept, just like all of its third gen. and now maybe even 4th gen groups. We will have to wait to see whether aespa joins forces with SuperM or if they end up (joining Red Velvet?) becoming part of the Red Force. And just like EXO, the members of aespa all have their own powers and symbols that represent them: 💓Karina (Yoo JiMin) is the leader of the group, she is a main dancer and lead rapper: her symbol is a heart and her spirit animal is a whale. She is Korean. 🌕Giselle (Uchinaga Aeri) is the main rapper and a vocalist: her symbol is the moon and her spirit animal is a unicorn. She is Japanese. ⭐Winter (Kim MinJeong) is a lead dancer, lead vocalist and the visual of the group: her symbol is a star and her spirit animal is a Siberian Husky dog. She is Korean 🦋NingNing (Níng Yìzhuo) is the maknae and the main vocalist: her symbol is a butterfly and her spirit animal is a tiger. She is Chinese. Fun fact: Yoo JiMin (Karina) was also a backup dancer in Taemin's "Want" MV and she even performed as a backup dancer for live performances of "Want." So, if you pay attention to the lyrics in "Black Mamba" you will see that it is telling aespa's story. The Black Mamba they refer to in the song is a dark force that stops them from connecting to their avatars. As the lyrics say, they "synk out," etc. and you see all the glitches happening. The aspea members are trying to overcome the Black Mamba and connect with their avatars again. You really have to pay attention to the lyrics to understand the story they are telling. The way I see it is there are two dimensions: aespa in the real world and their avatars (Kwangya) world. Aespa are connected to their avatars and everything the aespa members do in real life gives power to their avatars. However, because of the Black Mamba's temptation, aespa and their avatars cannot connect through the SYNK app anymore, so their avatars become lost. You see Ningning as she is searching through the Kwangya world on her computer trying to find their avatars. Ningning and the other members are wandering through the avatar Kwangya realm. But there seems to be some sort of crossover between realms as well. For example, in the train scene, aespa in the real world is also being overcome by the Black Mamba. Their world seems to be in ruins or being destroyed. In the last scene, the avatars seem to be drawn into aespa's real world and I think this is really the start of aespa's whole story. This is where they establish the fact that aspea, from now on probably, will be spending a majority of their storyline fighting the Black Mamba alongside their avatars. And somehow along the way, SM will probably start to connect the story with all its other groups' storylines. We will just have to wait to see how SM connects the dots and draws the storylines together. But I have a feeling that, eventually, aespa's story will connect to SuperM's story, and along the way also EXO, NCT and Red Velvet's storyline, and maybe even Taemin's solo work and even maybe SHINee. Just another one of SM's epic concepts and mysteries that we will have to wait and see, where it takes us.

and no the black mamba doesn't represent the toxic internet. Theres a story behind it. Black Mamba is trying to break and disconnect Aespa and their avatar friends. Thats also the scene of karina u saw on the train. Aespa and their friends are trying to fight against it and the break during the chorus that seemed spooky was karina getting “captured" by the black mamba first. Its all a story line connected. We will get more throughout the future. Aespa is the first step and introduction to the SMCU.

It's pretty obvious that the figure forming at the end of the video, the one surrounded by all the broken hearts / dislikes, represents internet hate. I think they're may be on to something.
