The fact that Imperial Fists has to learned sign language just to communicate with the sisters of silence is quite amazing since they are garrison at the imperial palace.

It's actually more surprising given the Fist's presence on Terra is not even sizeable (we're talking a squad of vets, max), and is essentially a token force. Learning the Sister's sign language though just shows the determination of those few garrisoned on earth to work with the palace's primary defences.

I remember one sister actually seeing the future during the horus heresy, she then proceeded to immediately break her oath of silence, tell her fellow sister she saw what she didn't (I mean she's not wrong lmao) and to top it all off, she called the golden man the *GOD* emperor. The other sister who listened and communicated with sign language then turned after hearing "god" and had contemplation on her face, as if she took a moment to really consider if the psychic reality rewriting man who's fighting abstract concepts was actually just a man.
