This movie has n number of references from Ramayan. But here the roles are reversed things that Sri Ram gone through in Ramayan here in the movie the female lead Sita goes through those things. Like in Ramayan Sita ji was captured in Lanka but here in the movie Luitenant Ram is captured. So the roles are reversed. In Ramayan Sri Ram was Prince and Sita ji was adopted by Janak and had no biological parents. In movie Sita was princess and Luitenant Ram is symbolically adopted by people.
