Do you know treta yug peoples height were approx. 20 feet and dwapar yug were 12 feet and kal yug is 5 feet...... so to hold brahmastra, pashupatastra by hand and throwing them , most probably , they were might be huge.... 20 feet means 1/3rd of India gate. Just suggestion read Valmiki Ramayan, which is considered first Ramayan. There's so much difference between Valmiki Ramayan and Tulsidas Ramcharitmanas. Just one example Sita Swayamvar never happened according to Valmiki Ramayan. Valmiki Ramayan is more realistic while Tulsidas Ramcharitmanas written in bhatki mindset with lots of add-ons. Bapu's direction is amazing. Ancient and divine history of India portrayed beautifully by Telugu cinema of last century. This genre is called Pauranika in Sanskrit but unfortunately as mythological in English. Divine ancient history is more accurate.

Yes it is not there in Valmiki Ramayana but it is mentioned in other versions of Ramayana. This movie was based on Telugu versions of Ramayana like ranganatha Ramayana

@@srinivasgupta5406 Honestly, people like Rajamouli only care for the dramatic lavish scenes but they lack any cultural, linguistic or literature depth. The reason why said the old ones are the best because, while they have grandeur settings and beautiful picturization like Rajamouli does, they do make sure to have the essence, philosophies and linguistic excellence captured along with the depth in acting. Telugu is blessed with “Kavulu” like Nannayya, tikkana, pothana who translated these amazing Sanskrits works of Mahabharata, bhagavatam so on in very sweet and complex “padya kavyamalu”. That is the essence of story telling in Telugu. The old film makers made full use of those which made those movies rich in cultural, linguistic and artistic sense. The focus today is only on graphics, grand waste and immaturish muscle punks. While still good to watch, pales in comparison.
