Hi! She probably wanted to fight for their Mazaua claim since obviously, she is from Agusan Del Norte which is the province that includes Butuan. Ultimately, their claim was denied by NHI in 1998 when they still sided with Limasawa and finally also in 2021. Nevertheless, her efforts gave way for experts to conduct research and hopefully we can still come up with solid evidence about its exact location because I think so far, the dispute in this issue is still debatable.

From Tudela Camotes Island Cebu...I've asked uncle Sean ba galing our name Sultan...Sabi nya yung mga castile daw nag tanong ng native...ano yan Island na yan referring to Limasawa Island....hindi magkaintindihan yan ang Lima Sawa means 5 wives of the Sultan...even in SAMOA 🇼🇸 lima means 5... tapos may Chinese trader bininta ang anak sa Sultan para maka barter sa Sultan...it happened that girl was our great 5x grandma... sa Muslim only the first 3 wives are legitimate...Lola sa 4th... so she moved back to Camotes Island to her relatives you eventually were baptized Christians ✝️

That is one of the claims outside of Limasawa and Masao. But apparently, reknowned historians like William Henry Scott stated that this claim could be false due to Pangasinan's location. Hopefully more historical records and evidence can be found to make it clear and have finality.
