Watched a few of these now, the geezer is always so negative a proper miserable bugger. Much like myself, keep up the good work, love it 😂

It's funny as we are going literally 7.7K down the road to where you were. We are at Domain de la breche. I once went with twin was told to find Pitch. Said it was too tight and hard. They came outside and then said not allowed a twin. I then I moved to other side of site. There was a massive 9m long van next to us. So was alright. I was stressed as had to go around Paris and the sat nav took us near charle de gaulle then the road we were meant to take was shut but wasn't on sat nav. Three kids and a big twin it was a bit stressful. Just drove south until sat nav finally realised we could go back to main road.

We really like Isle Vert. Easy access to the village and a great river frontage. Stayed several times and there again in 3 weeks as we journey to Provence via the Dordogne and Camargue.

It does look like a really nice site, better than the one we stayed on..

Site needs a tidy up and a lick of paint I think.

Thanks for watching. Yes that was only a small ish village. I think we sneaked in the site between units leaving and arriving. It’s also a bit off the beaten track

In my humble experience you should never trust reviews. Oh and Graham is very good although he has a very strange torque wrench fetish ••• 😂😂😂

So we won't have a problem with our 8.2m long single axle then?
@CaravanVlogger4 ай бұрын
That’s the thing, it’s not about length. I could have a 6m twin and still not be allowed on🤷🏼♂️

You want a bigger pitch, because you have 2 extra wheels on your caravan, well I want a bigger pitch, because I have a couple of extra lbs on my arse 😂
@CaravanVlogger4 ай бұрын
That’s a reasonable request, however, sites won’t ban you because of that 😆

The French don’t like twin axles because the gypos use them & they don’t want the gypos.
@alarmactionukalarmactionuk8934 ай бұрын
I wouldn't of thought that would be a problem in anycase? How many Frenchies want their hedges trimmed or driveways tarmac'd? I dinee understand?

I was speaking to a campsite owner in France a few weeks ago and he said some sites don’t like twins as they can rip up the pitch with the movers

That's a very good point. I noticed I did a bit, I flattened it out again with my foot. Didn't think it was a massive issue, but then I put the grass back as it was before I arrived.

The French sites don’t like twin axles cos they think you might be part of the Irish caravan club 😮
