Wow Phil! Super great to see some impressive siteswaps. And to know that there are other jugglers out there who like to go deep into the theory of siteswap to be creative, makes me happy! Awesome, keep it up!

I laughed. I cried. I was filled with joy, sadness, hope, and passion. So many emotions in such a short amount of time. Nice work. P.s. More 7 balls please! That was by far my favorite part of the video.

Phil... love your videos.. but this is a sort of piece de resistance.. just beautiful, incredible, magnificent juggling. I'm amazed to see your progress and level of ability. Thanks for writing out the siteswaps because I surely couldn't understand them. Just brilliant..

Phil Thompson but you're 100x better at siteswap! By the way the sequence at around 4:05 is probably my favourite 6 ball sequence ever!

Dude, you've gotten so insanely good. Your control over those siteswaps is insane and your throws are so fast and precise. These were some of the most amazing siteswaps I've ever seen in this video, especially the 6B ones. This definitely inspired me to practice more. PS: Do you still use the balls you once made a tutorial about? If yes, how much do you fill them? Another question: Please tell me an easy way to go into 771 from the normal 5B pattern xD
@mistergolfer77 жыл бұрын
I still use Wiffle Russian balls, but I make them slightly differently now. I drill a small hole (like the size of an average drinking straw) and I fill it with salt. Then I take a small square piece of white electrical tape and put it over the hole. Done. It's quite easy and I've been juggling the same set for almost 3 years and have only replaced the tape 2 or 3 times. I fill them so the total weight is 100 grams. I know people who juggle 80 gram Wiffle Russians and people who juggle 120 gram Wiffle Russians. I find 100 to be a happy medium. From the 5b cascade you need to throw two "6's" to get into 771. So in siteswap it would be "...55555555 66 771771..." Also, it is 62 to get out of the pattern. So "...771771 62 5555..."

What does it mean the "c", for example in the siteswap at 4:41? And so the other letters?
@mistergolfer77 жыл бұрын
The "c" is in reference to the throw height. A=10, b=11, c=12, etc. The reason "c" is used instead of "12" is because it would cause confusion. There is no punctuation used in siteswap, so we use letters for throw heights greater than 9.

WOW, you are just awesome! This video really blew me away. I have have to ask, did you actually read The Mathematics of Juggling by Burkard Polster? Seems like you already know most of this stuff, but it might be still interresting.

Great video! What do you think are the easiest 6 ball siteswaps?
@p0otty7 жыл бұрын
I'd definitly recommend 9555.
@mistergolfer77 жыл бұрын
I would say start with 75 (Half shower) if you haven't already learned it. If you don't reeeealy consider that a siteswap, try 756 or maybe even 774. If you're trying to just do one or two rounds of a siteswap, try b97522, b97531, 9555, or 864. People vary in their perception of a specific siteswap's difficulty, so keep playing around with it. Good luck!

incredible! I thought that i'm good in siteswaps - I can make all kind of 4 ball variations, but you can do the same with 6!
