Siteworks Background Images Creation and Importing

How is this supposed to work in any useful way? I have cad lines for a project and when I insert my black background as you show here on the video it’s not fitting properly to my my cad lines?? I don’t understand how it’s gonna help me Sorry

The black background does not need to line up with any cad line-work to work. It is only a little hack to just have a dark background or if you change the transparency it will be a gray background. It is only intended to help in a situation where the lines may be hard to see in the daylight light a light yellow line on a white background is hard to see, but with a black background it pops out a bit more. But once again, if you import a black pdf it does not need to match or lineup with anything, just a visual option.

Is it possible to import a Google Earth background directly into Siteworks on a Trimble T7 Data Collector without Trimble Business Center?

@@johntgoslee5951 yes. One way is to go to google earth on the data collector and then zoom in to your job and do a screen shot. Then go to siteworks and do a manual placement of that image using 2 different points that are known on the design or you shot and then on the image.
