They could literally make an epic series like game of thrones about the sixth fighting each other for power and to be the head of the dark council of with lords…it could culminate in a twist where the Jedi are introduced, massive conflict. Instead we get a series about gay people doing gay things

As cool as it would be to see one from TOR, or about the first schism, there's no way in Hell that Disney of all people would be able to make a good adaption without completely destroying and warping it into something unwatchable. Bet anything that if current Lucasfilm and all of these sh^t writers were to adapt a Revan movie, there's no chance in the 1000 Hells of CHY-NA that Revan and Malak wouldn't be ghey, or race/gender swapped.

It feels good to do good and to do things the right way... but it doesnt make a very interesting story. Storytellers gravitate toward the seams, the stress points, and the exception cases...which are interesting precisely because they are outside the realm of what sensible, moral people would do. The good moments of a good life--staying up late with good friends and a bit of wine, waking up early to have a sunrise hike with special people, teaching your kid how to cook a new mean--that stuff doesn't look exciting on a page or on a screen, but a life lived doing that stuff would be a well-lived life with no regrets. Interesting to watch =/= fun or enjoyable to experience.

Brother, this philosophy is reminiscent of Nietzsche's philosophy of the "Superman". But along with the similarities, there are also differences. The Sith rely on "the Force", a mystical property of the world that unites living beings and gives abilities beyond physical capabilities. Unfortunately, this aspect of the universe is missing in our reality. This calls into question the dogma of Sith philosophy as it applies to our world. Perhaps stoicism will be the most correct solution. You know many of his inspirational examples from Warhammer. This is much closer to us.

True Sith don't rely on the force, according to the code passion and strength are prior and come before the power, and are fundamental, their philosophy stands still without the force. Jedi philosophy is inspired by stoicism and Buddhism, which first heavily represses one dark side to the shadow, and demonizing it. Stoicism can't be the answer as it is almost purely the same as Jedi philosophy, which is clearly flawed

Lucas equates the Dark Side with evil; in the worldview of Western civilization, the concept of evil is equivalent to the devil. This is where we get the concept of “temptation”. The Sith experience these paranormal temptations, which are not characteristic of ordinary beings, and by controlling their impulses, animal impulses succumb to the desire for power. According to Nietzsche, a superman is one who has subdued his inner animal on the path to Power. It's very Sith-like. The difference is that the Dark Side increases the thirst for power tenfold. Hence the amazing achievements that the Sith often have. Man, being a weak organic structure, does not have a constant within himself. A person has no control over his own will and is weak in front of his own biology (gormans, instincts, etc.). The Sith constantly experience the transcendental influence of the dark side, which determines their lives. This elevates them above the common man. This influence is somewhat reminiscent of the “influence of the Holy Spirit” taken from Christian dogma. The Jedi are a naive image of goodness, inspired by Eastern martial arts and Buddhism. Essentially, this is an organization that clings to its own influence in society and resembles a bureaucratic episcopate with its inherent hypocrisy. The Sith, on the other hand, are deeper and more interesting (as is usually the case with the image of evil in culture). Why Stoicism is more suitable for us than the Sith philosophy. Because a person in our world is doomed to be a slave to his passions and impulses. He's already lost. Stoicism tells you: “Abandon your sadness, raise your head and move on. You will fall again. But you will rise again.” There can be no triumph for us equal to that of Palpatine or the other great Sith. But we can adapt to this life and live it normally. This is stoicism.
