I knew the titles were about physical phenomena, but it took me reading the Xeelee Sequence to understand you were literally narrating the entire Big Bang creation of the universe model up to the formation of Earth, in a strange twist of fate now I can hear the album while reading how the Monads kickstarted reality and the subsequent events, for those who don't know: Invent the Universe: The very first instant where space and time appears Grand Unification: In this epoch Strong Nuclear Force, Weak Nuclear Force and Electromagnetism haven't divided yet Expansion: Space and Time suddenly grow exponentially Baryogenesis: Somehow the universe generates more matter than antimatter, which in turn denies complete annihilation Particles collide: The essential subatomic particles start to coalesce, up until this point not even a second of existence has come to pass Nucleosynthesis: With atoms finally possible the opportunity for elements other than hydrogen, the most basic of atoms, becomes a reality Recombination: Atoms and even molecules start to appear, with them the fundamental blocks of construction are there, it only takes a bit more that a third of a million years Dark Ages: At this point the universe as we know it start to take form but since there are no stars yet there are no major sources of light, the universe is a cloud of elemental matter. Formation: Stellar phenomena appears, stars are born illuminating creation, they die liberating new elements and components which allow the emergence of planets Pale Blue Dot: With the laws set, the elements available and the forces in motion Earth is formed and evolves into a rocky watered planet capable to sustain life as we know it. On an interesting twist of the tale the author of the Xeelee Sequence (who actually takes Hard Science Fiction writing seriously) proposed that life could have existed right from the very first instant space and time were born, after all, life is a self-replicating, energy consuming system, you don't even need molecules for such a thing to exist, the structure of space and time can be more than enough, indeed for a creature of the Grand Unification Epoch our universe would have feel absurdly cold and slow just as for us their age would have been hellishly hot and fast, but that's how perspective works.

This album's one of a very few that helped get me through so many textbook chapters, math problem sets, coding projects, and skate sessions. From broke student $30k in debt to software developer owning a home... thanks so much for making such a replayable album and all the years of inspiring jams! Cheers!

Every time I went stargazing in the last 7 years, this album was the soundtrack on the road to the astronomical observatory. Pale blue dot was the first song I heard (I don't remember the exact occasion), and it blew my mind from the first note, as then the entire album did. This is not only a virtuoso sharing his unreal skills at guitar, as much as this does not contain all the overheard clichés of djent. The beauty and the complexity of the composition, the perfect tone of every instrument, the spacey armospheres it conveys from the first tonthe last second thank to a well-studied mix and mastering (and last but not least, THE LICK!): these are some of the factors which make this album so astonishng, so well-crafted I am so happy and grateful to have had the opportunity to discover this and even to buy the physical version of this album. After having listened to this 10th anniversary remix, which made me discover even more depth than i I could have imagined before (can you believe that?), the only thing that I can say is that I'd love to hear this on a physical support (edit: I just saw that is in preorder, so I bought it. I'm even happier than before :D). Even if I also liked "Cassini", "Invent the Universe" is probably in my top 10 releases of all the time, and I guess it'll always remain there! This is pure gold. Thanks Sithu Aye for this epic voyage through the vastness of the Universe!

The original was incredible but now...now it's like looking at the original master from a telescope and looking at the REmaster under a microscope. I will definitely be purchasing this as a humble token of my appreciation. How on earth did you make a masterpiece sound so much better? Keep the music alive!
