What an excellent video…the young men outdid themselves driving the boat, the climb up the mountain side, the hunt, the weather was quite negative for coming back down the mountain but they made it! What a blessing to be able to go on that hunt. Sitka is so beautiful and rich with history and culture. You can be so proud of those boys, you have taught them well but more important they have learned well. So often you can teach but if they don't listen they cant learn. Those boys are becoming honorable young men.

I had the misfortune of visiting a household last weekend where a 16 year old boy lives. He had ear buds in the entire three days, and spent more time each day blow drying his hair than your sons did packing that deer off the mountain. I watched this video when I got home. A absolutely amazing video. Not sure who did the video, but those shots were gorgeous and so well chosen.........absolutely amazing. What an adventure and the fun, pride, joy, tenacity to reach your goals and the sticking to the way your father has shown you all these years. This was absolutely fabulous. Glad you got the black tail and the fact you know how to skin it and prep it all for carrying over rough terrain and the weather conditions.........I just can't say enough. I even got teary eyed when thinking of how you learned all you have and sucked it up like a sponge from youth to young manhoood. You two are amazing and an honest tribute to your parents and their love and their love of bringing you up to manhood in the best way possible. You are mazing young men! This was amazing.........you will definitely never go hungry that is to be sure as you will also someday feed your own families in such a way when possible. Your boys have not only shown themselves to be self-reliant and resourceful. They have also shown themselves to be very good videographers. I loved all of the great scenery shots and detail shots of nature. There are a lot of professional videographers out there who document hunts, but don't do nearly as professional a job as your boys did. Well done.

First off, I know mom and dad are proud parents when you saw your young men show you everything that you taught them. My personal favorite was when "thank you,Jesus" was the first words out of there mouth. I know Jesus was smiling. Very glad they returned safe and sound. I’m so proud of you Ethan and Justin; I’m not your parent but I was crying with such joyfulness watching your beautiful journey together. You both have honored the Lord with such precious humility in your entire lifetime that this becomes so evident during this video and it was more than a hunting bounty; it became a testimony of your life’s instruction from your parents (father) to you. When Ethan prayed before shooting the deer and then giving thanks to God for His gifts, it became even more apparent that the boys were no longer boys… they had definitely crossed over to the stage of being men. Something had changed within their abilities of of how they viewed themselves. They finally believed in themselves; because they had to only depend upon God’s promises, Joas’ and Priscilla’s love, guidance from birth, honesty, agility, innermost wisdom, and the demonstration of brotherly/twin-twin trust with ingenuity to complete the magnificent tasks at hand for a man’s job! I don’t know very many seasoned hunters who could possibly continue managing the same terrain, knowing the deer needed to be cleaned immediately, foraging from on top of a mountain to the base of river…with fifty pounds of meat each in the backpacks plus gear. God had His guiding hands, feet and soul beside you and with you. You were protected the moment you left your earthly parents side. Your precious Mother and Father were both praying for you Ethan and Justin. I know both of you realize, how much your parents love, adore and respect you. They totally trust you too; just as this video has reflected upon your good judgments, faithfulness, morality, trustworthiness, stewardship, honesty, respect and love for one another.
