This needs more brown and a little less gray. I love sitka but they just don't make a versatile enough camo for whitetails here in Texas when going from those Prarie hunts in south Texas to those northern woods and eastern pines. I know these colors change in different lighting but more original camo colors they're tried and true. I think they need to go back to the drawing board eith this

Hey what camo pattern are you running now? I just moved to the hill country and having trouble finding the best pattern for down here with all the crazy changes in color just a few miles from each hunt spot.

Add brown and tan to this camo, and it’s the subalpine, lol haha. Take the green out and add tan/brown and white and you got elevated 2. This “new” camo cover, is basically the same as the original elevated 1 color before they came out with elevated 2 and discontinued the 1 color, now they relaunch it with the white color taken out from the original elevated 1, and call it cover now.

@@alexanderandrews7134 honestly I just stocked up on mossy oak terra Outland. I've used it in the Forrest a couple times. I like it. I don't hunt out of trees. Scentlok and scent blocker run it. I have a hard time finding pants as a short guy but the blocker outdoors does good. (Bare minimum atleast) they have 2 types Gila and Terra

Im in texas and i run the subalpine even saddle hunt in it. Til the leafs start falling and switch to EVll

@@CowboyOutdoorz sublime works great! you kind of have to run that sublime as long as possible. Because the elevated sticks out so much. I'm not a fan of mixing camos and the weather is not very predictable

After spending $4k on the original elevated forest and having Sitka Completely discontinue the pattern on me. Then spending $15k on elevated 2 and Sub Alpine This new cover camo is the last thing I will ever buy! Never gonna happen

Will this color be available in the Jetstream jacket or regular equinox pants? Stratus collects too much stuff in fabric for me to purchase it again in another color. I try not to wear the stratus now because of that, find myself wearing jetsream with a mid layer instead...

You act like he’s holding a gun to your head making you buy this stuff. There are plenty of other options out there. If you can afford it, I think it’s absolutely worth it. If not there’s no problem with that, there are many other brands.

I just don’t understand why we have to be so critical and dogmatic about mainstream hunting! The beauty about hunting is it’s our liberty to do so however we please within the perimeters of the law. Do what you love, how you do it, and just be kind and happy. I get it, things are high now a days, it’s just life and the economy. I’m just greatful that the sport is growing and more people are able to enjoy it. Just encourage others and do what you can to bring the sport together, not cause division.

Your a clown. And sitka gear is unbeatable. It will last a lifetime. So it's an investment. Instead of buying huntworth from Walmart and it only good for 2 seasons at the most.. keep crying or work harder to afford better gear.

Light colors in camo is CAN BE important for tree stand hunting. It’s to help with your silhouette and stopping backlighting. Those light colors against a light sky break up your outline.

It’s not white but more of a brownish cream color. Saw it in person.

It’s not white. Seen it yesterday at Scheels and it’s more of cream tan color and different shades of grey.
