Thanks very much for the subscription! We have to get back and so some more Battlegroup one of these days. And I wish I was rolling a little better in this game. :D

Thanks very much Chris. I wish I had played a little better. I can’t just blame the dice there were a number of missed opportunities and oversights on my part here. 😢

Haven't played Battlegroup, I'll have to check out the rules. While the order dice weren't rolling in your favor, I do like the way they serve as a "fog of war" mechanic for command. Seems especially appropriate for North Africa battles - where the unforgiving conditions (heat, haze, smoke, dust) certainly had an impact on visibility, communications, and overall situational awareness. An entertaining game!

Thanks very much. Definitely my favorite WW2 miniatures system. Some players find the constant "observation checks" annoying, but real combat isn't a point-and-click game. Getting orders to engage a specific target over a 1940s radio inside a jostling tank with an engine, crew, machine gun, and main gun all cooking off in your ear ... then SPOTTING that target through a mail-slot vision port through smoke and dust ... no matter how close the enemy tank is, is never a sure thing.

are you taking a BR chit for each vehicle destroyed in a platoon? Or only when the who platoon is destroyed?

Oriskany Jim here - One BR counter is drawn for each VEHICLE destroyed.
