Turns out the injector pump pistons were seized.

Nice work fellas, glad you got it sorted! I had the same on my fordson that was sitting about that long. The plungers were stuck and so was the fuel rack. Really it's lucky the plungers were stuck, on these vacuum governed pumps they default to full fuel for easy starting and it was seized in that position. If she had have started she would have been stuck at full throttle with no governor control and no way to shut it off!

The governor is not supposed to be full of fuel. Just oil in the bottom.

Sie wissen nicht das man mit der Handpumpe Diesel vorpumpen kann und so das System entlüften kann. Zudem hat er glühkerzen man braucht hier kein start fluid.
