Probably my favorite episode in a long time. Just hearing experts talking about things is cool. Also, I'm happy that Shindo brought up the Quadruple amputee one that he did just for Connor's reaction alone. But it really is wholesome, of which not many doujins of that tag would be classified as (if at all), considering how extreme it is. Which hearing how Shindo talked about his process, it makes sense that he'd do such a thing. One of the things that I personally always liked was trauma and scar type stuff (physical or mental) in particular just for that unique satisfaction of seeing the characters overcome them and have a good life despite that. And that's not even specific to the topic of the podcast, but in general really.

I just can't seem to get the motivation to start because I get intimidated by anatomy. I can draw girls fine but I struggle with drawing the guy's body

I think it's just how the trash taste video performed some times. like the video about japanese hostess, although the guest is very interesting it's for very long time like quite a few months not crossed to one million views, and then for the next few month it's crossed 1,2 million views plus and seeing kevin is not a popular youtuber or popular internet personality compared to others, kevin video is performed quite well.

I laughed so hard when they think they have f’ed up tastes in tags only for ShindoL to be like “that’s pretty vanilla to me” to some very unorthodox tags. I think my tastes in tags are also on par with ShindoL as well, because some of the tags that are commonly considered to be messed up (like ugly bastard or NTR) are pretty tame to me. Their talk with him is so cool and I’m very glad they had him as a guest, exploring kinks and seeing how beautiful art in hent@i can be is so fascinating to me.

I was listening to this in the background while working on a Transformers model kit of Windblade (a girl Transformer) and I don’t remember the time code but heard yall say there’s a lot of H Dojin based on Transformers… honestly not only can I totally believe that, I’m pretty sure this kit I’m working on was designed by an H artist, because she’s insanely pretty and also has quite a Defined ass for a Transformer. Seriously look it up! Like I wouldn’t necessarily call it a Dumptruck Ass, mostly because she canonically turns into a plane (the model kit does not transform) but it is there and appears to have somewhat realistic Squish (despite the character being made of Metal). Fully official Transformers product, but they clearly commissioned someone Cultured.

ShindoL gets it. No dirt on the current stuff but the mid 90's to like mid-00's H doujins hit different. They had a story and the art had a great balance.

I agree with the long stories but I actually prefer the art now. Even if there was a few gods in the past, the average is a lot better right now. I remember a lot of very sharp faces, pointy noses... Characters were more "2d", hair was stiff..

I guess my personal fave Shindo L doujin, was the Fate doujin of Boudica, cuz dang it's quite historically accurate. Tho the most wholesome doujin I've seen from him is one where there's a delinquent boy, and a rich girl, they did the do, and the boy becomes her bodyguard. Edit: Also Shindo L's happy end in Metamorphosis is that Saki is actually an actress, and Metamorphosis is actually a movie or series.

The Light Novel Asanagi works on as an Illustrator is written by the author of Mushoku Tensei btw :) Also one of the reasons why Rifujin won't work on new MT stuff or rewrite the WN stories starting with Redundancy: He stated that he wants to finish [edit: ofc he wants to finish the MT LN release as well first, and it's one, a maximum of 2 volumes] Orc Eroica first before going back to the Stories from the six-faced World (MT universe). And boi, look up Orc Eroica, Thunder Sonia is everything you want to have in a Rifujin story drawn by Asanagi.
