Worldwide Fido Award-winning dog, Gabe performs amazing, unique tricks for his owner and dog trainer, Cheryl Knapp. PLEASE NOTE: Even though it may appear that way in the video NO BROWNIES WERE GIVEN TO GABE as chocolate is toxic to dogs! ALSO: the crate is NOT Gabe's--(he had free roam of the house when he wasn't tagging along with me!) it was just used it to demonstrate the trick :)

He breathes well enough to have earned advanced titles in obedience, rally, agility, and lure coursing!...and he does all of this while simultaneously doing "weight-lifting", too! He's a solid boy!

Yes, an active bulldog is a happy bulldog BUT never to strain his heart/breathing/over heating: this lady will know Gabe's limitations, I'm 100% sure. Be careful on stifling hot/humid days.

He loves learning new things and actually learned to open the fridge by watching my older girl do it :) He was only 5 months old at the time. He has learned to hold and/or retrieve items since he was little so we just string the two actions together. He picked up the flushing trick pretty fast, too--just got him to paw at it and he soon figured it out. He's a smart boy!

I'm a dog walker/pet sitter and over the last ten years have taken care of a number of Bulldogs. Hands down my favorite breed because they are so hilarious...but they are also so STUBBORN! I can't think of one I know that would have been AGREEABLE to all this training (but all smart enough to do, for sure). The disdainful looks I would have gotten would make me wither. The most amazing thing about this is that you got a BULLDOG to do it all! Gabe is a riot and a very clever guy. Nice job!

I've had many bulldogs. People always say the breed is dumb... bit my response is that they are highly intelligent! They are smart enough to be lazy and make everyone else do the work. 😂

His rocking horse trick is definitely his most difficult and amazing trick (the fact that you don't see other dogs doing it confirms that! :) I have had 6 bulldogs that have been wonderful performers, earning national rankings as obedience dogs and doing a variety of great tricks (ALL have taken to riding skateboards without much encouragement) but Gabe and my first bulldog, Rosie, have been the only ones to learn the rocking horse trick. Thanks again!

I love this Breed. I have never met an English Bulldog that didn’t give me the warm and fuzzies. I have owned 3 in my lifetime. I can’t imagine life without one in the house.

Gabe deff does Rock, he's the cleverist Bulldog I've seen and ive own two, well there's one in the eye for ppl who say bulldogs are dumb and stubborn and can't be trained,so very welldone to the lady owner you should be very proud of Gabe and yourself :-) your both amazing and very lucky.

Gabe is not neutered as he is a show dog--a multi-champion with all of his health clearances and titled in advanced obedience, rally, agility, lure coursing, herding instinct, working on carting and tracking, and is also a therapy dog :) And yes, he most certainly lives with us in our house--though he gets too hot to sleep on our bed and prefers his cozy soft-sided bed!

Those Frenchies are a riot too.....Have taken care of a number of them too and it's always a laugh fest. And they are all CRAZY smart....you can't put anything past them. I used to walk a pair of English BD's in Greenwich, CT, right in middle of town. Winston, the brother, regularly stopped traffic on the busy main street with his antics. Orange traffic cones were a favorite. And wheels. One day he pulled a loaded UPS handtruck down the sidewalk as I and the UPS guy were doubled over laughing.

We saw your video on Wimp.com a moment ago and had to come here and watch it again. It's so nice to watch other phenomenal trainers in action. I've trained one of our cats to skateboard and all of them to perform a whole host of paw targeting and prop training. I just love seeing how much fun it is for our cats to learn. @spant20 Thanks so much...Piers actually had no say in whether we went on at this point in the show. The decision was based on public votes, and apparently there were a few other acts that America chose over Gabe Rocks...but we certainly had fun and made millions have a good chuckle! And we can't help but feel pretty special :)

Thank you! We love learning things together--the more you do with your dog, the more their personality shines! Sadly, Gabe passed away over a year ago just before his 11th birthday...but I have several of his youngsters to carry on his silly traditions. My latest little up-n-coming star is Solo The Puppy Prodigy who is Gabe's Great-Great Grandpup! Solo just returned from Hollywood where he was competing as a semifinalist in the Facebook contest "World's Most Amazing Dog". Pretty amazing for this 8 month old to be among the Top Ten competitors in this huge global contest!

@tarzanandshanaynay Both. We signed up for an open audition and were selected for the judges' audition in Seattle, however we only had a couple days to prepare (just found out about it!) and without having a mic and no cameras to show Gabe the audience couldn't see him that well. We didn't have enough things put together and the judges asked if he could do more things (& the 2 male judges really didn't like the fact that I had a cowboy costume on Gabe)...so, we sent in this video!
