yeah milling decks make the fight last way longer especially if only one side is attacking. usually, both will be hitting each other so that when the enemy is actually out of cards, they will die way faster.

komrad822 In YGO, you can make a milling deck that wins first turn. I'm sorry, but MTG and YGO both have turned into a format that doesn't promote respectable gaming anymore. Especially YGO which wasn't created with competitive play or balancing in mind and MTG which just changed itself into a faster-paced format comparable to YGO. It's quite sad, neither game promotes a lot of tactical play by now. In YGO, it's almost all about being able to pull one OTK combo, or maybe up to 4 different ones, in MTG, it's similar though not as bad as with YGO. I don't find myself enjoying either anymore because they both let the format change drastically.

Milling Druid does work, just rarely past rank 10 on the ladder because control decks are able to end the match faster, and the Milling Druid is pretty much just a control deck with a wonky win condition. That said, this is by no means a new deck, and I've been playing around with this kind of strategy since April/May. Rogue has Shadowstep for added bounce on the Oracle, but I don't think it's worth it compared to just running a standard Miracle Rogue deck, and Naturalize is just too good to pass up as a milling spell. Basically there's two ways of utilizing the draw-mill strat in HS: Fill the enemy's hand with Lorewalker Cho and King Mukla to burn your opponent's cards and win by indirectly destroying random stuff in his/her deck (Rogue Vanish comes to mind), or aim for the fatigue win (Leeroy/Shadow Step never counted if you wanted to win this way imo). The advantage of playing Lorewalker and Mukla is that you'll likely burn cards from your opponent's deck, but in reality they don't speed up the fatigue win, so I personally don't play them myself - Dancing Swords generally work better towards accomplishing that goal. Siv also runs oddball Innervates, Mana Wraiths and A-boms. I run Ancients of Lore, Healing Touch and Sludge Belcher to drag out the game for the fatigue win instead. But then again, Siv's deck is more geared towards the burning of cards from the top of the opponent's deck than going directly for the fatigue win. Pros: OTK is possible late-game, even when your opponent has full hp, and it's hilarious. Cons: Games take forever and piloting the deck is a struggle between feeding your opponents cards and making sure you are still able to beat whatever he/she is playing. Also the mirror match is the weirdest thing.

Jan Kříž In that case I'd argue you aren't playing "milling rogue" - you're playing "fill your opponent's hand and burn cards from their deck" rogue. Milling is defined by making your opponent lose from drawing from an empty deck. In other card games, drawing from an empty deck causes an instant loss, but in HS there's fatigue damage to make it less OP considering the deck size is really low.

He is right , milling exist since the creation of card game and some card in HS were designed for it .Mill deck exist since the closed beta of the game but the version siv is using is a bad one , it get rekt by aggro . For a good Mill Deck (or fatigue deck) search for fatigue mage and natural remedies .

This type of deck already exists! Do it with the class Rogue though, it has sap and vanish. Both are great removal cards (back to their hand I mean). Try it out Siv! Plus Rogue also has shadowstep. So you can shadowstep the coldlight till it costs no mana. Then you can do it again with the brewmasters so think about making them draw like, 10+ cards in one turn!

I wonder how many games he had to record to make this work. This one was obviously very lucky to work out: 3:52 She has no cards to kill that minion. A sheep or a fireball + hero ability would've done the job, but obviously she had none of those essential cards in spite of having drawn that many already. 8:06 The burnt card was a sheep, so one of the strongest cards just disappeared. It could've been any card, and it is the sheep of all cards. 8:44 He drew the "Destroy a minion" card just as she had the 7/6 taunt up. If that card had not come right there but 2 turns later, he might've lost since there were 7 damage on the board with him having 14 HP and he had no taunt on his hand. So the attack + the hero ability would've killed him there, even if he had shielded himself in both turns. Side note: 8:11 was a big misplay. She should've killed Lorewalker Cho alone before using the flamestrike to deny that card from his hand. He didn't actually use it, but nevertheless it was a misplay.
