Hi Siva..! I had an issue regarding query performance when using count function can you please help me out. I have written a query with joins and subquery and I am able to written the result data consisting of 11000records in 3sec. Actually what I need is count of this records using count function. When I am using count function like count(primary key column) on this select statement by taking this query into inline query in from clause I am having performance issue and taking time of 7min to return count as 11000.

Nice explanation as always, pls make a video on soft and hard parsing and bind variable....pls correct me if I am wrong.... If query ll be excuted first time then it's called hard parsing and if it's already in shared pool then it's called soft parsing
