For a example why diesel are turbo charged "Diesel engines are almost always turbocharged because it significantly improves their efficiency and power output by forcing more air into the combustion chamber, allowing for more fuel to be burned and generating greater power, especially at lower RPMs where a diesel engine naturally produces less power without a turbocharger; essentially, a turbocharger helps overcome the inherent limitations of a diesel engine's air intake process, making it more efficient and powerful. " In today's whole of bs 6 phase 2 , I won't suggest diesel for all specially for a simple fact " dpf " Dpf gets clogged when people don't exceed 2000 rpm everytime , it needs the right temperature to burn off the soot And then comes the petrol turbos, these days you will see a lot of turbo engines in the sub 4 meter cars, all are three cylinder engines , without that turbo that 3 cylinder cannot produce that 100 - 120 hp , Bigger petrol engine specially 4 cylinder 1.5 creta turbo is for that extra power So application matters , As for EVs I can't imagine 100 percent cars as ev cars, and where do the power gonna come from ? Plus phone la yae they restrict fast charging, What will happen say 8 years after the warranty period of the battery ? There are many things involved Lastly Velu sir is not a god , He said three cylinder turbos are equally reliable Ha ha right 😂, A proper mechanical engineer will know one day the turbo of the three cylinder engines will go off nu And they were never fuel efficient compared to their equally powerful 1.5 NA of creta or the elevate Velu sir is not always true, point is they don't have a proper 1.5 NA 😂
