@@premkumart9044 SK is inexperienced in acting skill. Surya is a well experienced actor, sometimes an experienced actor will spoil the director's needs and character needs. Soorarai potru movie is similar pattern of true life story you can't say Suryas movie it is sudha kongara making only. Varanam aayiram I saw that movie many times. you can't find someone reality in GVM movie, rowdyism in high society teenage guys, such a funny scenes. I can say varanam aayiram some portion is an over acting military portion too. Crying in a truck while going to war field. A courageous man will cry silently from his heart only not from the mind. you can find differences from varanam aayiram and soorarai potru. You can't replace SK in this movie. Sk not choose this movie. This movie chosen the SK.

Any existing actor other than SK would have totally spoiled the film. First they would have asked for change of SaiPallavi with some flesh showing heroines and their personnel love story would have replaced Mukundan story. Like Sivaji acting as VOC SK did full justice to the role. No where I saw SK, but Mukundan. Iam a staunch fan of Sivaji who had talked with Sivaji about his roles. As such only Sivaji could have done more than SK.
