I recently came back to the game due to War Within (Which Im enjoying so far!) I just hit 80 yesterday and just trying to finish the story atm. This event looks like sooo much fun and Im so excited to try it out! So many neat items we can get. Mounts, gear, tmogs and toys! Its great to be back and I cant wait to see what else WW has for us

It looks like the upgraded tier 2 sets will be available in different colors too. If you look at the promotional site for the event, there are two variations of the monk set pictured, one in green and one in yellow. I'm hoping for a death knight set that's maybe bit less blue 🙏

Something not said in the video but in the article on the website with dracthyr getting more classes is that you'll be able to choose to stay in visage form or drac form in combat since you're not relying on Evoker powers anymore, Evoker are still restricted to drac form because of their abilities.

They said the event won't be for 2-3 weeks like before but be the whole next patch update lasting more then 2 months, plenty of time to farm all the sets.

​@@Lalasquad360 They'll cost the event currency to buy each set, I'd imagine it'll be similar to the ensemble sets like in mop remix meaning you can buy any of them on any character, they'll just probably be locked to the classes to wear. Nothing is confirmed yet since they're not even on ptr yet.

This is the stuff I like to see blizzard doing, not speaking of the raid and updates sets which yeah that’s amazing but I’m taking about the “party” outside of caverns of time. Small fun things to do as a community that steps outside of the end game grind and politics. I’m still waiting for them to completely revamp and upgrade the big holiday events like hallows end, winters veil, Brewfest, the Thanksgiving one etc.

I play a Tauren Shaman so I've always found ascendance pretty lame. I mean, I ascend and become smaller and weaker looking in a model that doesn't look anything like my character. They need to make ascendance look different for each race. It just feels like a glitch at this point even if they update the model.

I have NO interest in TTW content (I'm actually surprised you addressed this in your opener!). In fact, after 16yrs of WoW, I unsubbed. But then, Blizz teases the 20th anniversary, and I am actually feeling excited about this! I still won't purchase TTW, but I will re-sub for the upcoming 20th anniversary patch. I just wish it were happening sooner. I think I'm most excited about: 1. BRD, and 2. Korrack's Revenge! Ty for your content 🙂

@@paratrooperwife it SEEMS that you MIGHT NOT be able to do the raid without being level 80. I saw a post made by WoWhead, a WoW site, surely you've heard of it, in the article they datamined the i-level of the gear that drops from the raid. The ilevel is exactly the same as the Nerubian Palace raid, the first raid of War Within at level 80. There is NO OTHER ilvl present. So it's gonna be probably like this: 1. if you are not lvl 80 you can NOT queue to LFR BRD 2. if you are not lvl 80 you CAN do the other stuff in the event, they said timewalking dungeons are level 10 and up, the outdoor stuff is also for all levels AND most probably yes than no, the scenario where you relive the Opening of the Gates is also will also be available for all levels? Since it's a scenario so it can very easily be made to scale with your level. Soo, if you don't have War Within to get to level 80, welp, no BRD raid for you, unless you find a team to carry you through it :| On the "bright" side, there's been datamining also suggesting the patch will drop on 22=23th October, so 1 month and a half from now. I am 99% sure that then they will also probably do like a 20-25% cut of the price, so expansion will only cost 40 bucks the standard version. So if you really fancy, you can grab it then :) Take care until then ^^

After leveling 3 of my old toons to 70 and 1 to 80, I am realizing this game requires hours and hours and HOURS of set up for each toon. I need different add ons for each, I need different proffessions for each etc I'm considering consolidating all my possessions and gold on one toon, and completely ignoring my entire War Band, to only focus on one toon. Save time and master one class. Seems so much more efficient, and likely will feel a lot less like a JOB, which I PAY $15/month of REAL MONEY just to work and always be half accomplished.

Been playing since 2008. Not played last year and half probably and mainly was oaying a month just to redo my transmog or something. Shadowlands and BFA totaly killed the game for me and drinked the soul out. I am 60/40 to not even bother with the new expac as mainly i will just play for a month and get bored from the same, repetative quests as per usual. Will leave WOW with the bitter/sweet taste it left after Legion and probably just leave it ther... Cant find the passion for the game i had anymore
