Agree 100% percent with your impressions of Ananda. Had one for 1 year and its just like you described. In particular, viewers should pay attention to your comment on soundstage. The Ananda feel spacious because of the big cup and all the air you have around the ears, but they are not wide. Is easy to mess this up when commenting about it (I saw other reviewers do it) and I'm glad you correctly brought it up.

Thanks for the kind words! That’s been my experience too. It definitely feels grand and expansive, but the soundstage isn’t particularly huge in terms of width.

Wow, 200hrs into burn in and they have made a transformation. They are magnificent and mature sounding. Still too early to report much but wow,wow,wow. The bass might have a little fatness that lacks a slight bit definition but you really don't notice it because there's plenty of it. The mids are really the star of the show. I'm going to let them burn in for another 75hrs at the office then bring them home for good. ADDENDUM 9-13-24: So, I will add that the midrange dynamics are high. That is the vocals, strings, snares, are all up close to the listener as if you're sitting in the first 3 rows of a live concert. The sound stage is wide. Sometimes, at mid-high volume the midrange vocals are too close and too dynamic and this forces me to turn the volume of my Joetenheim2 down. I'm running them balanced. These remind me of an HD650 with no weaknesses, strong authoritative bass, better dynamics, but cleaner and clearer in every way. My Hifiman Edition XX has a kind of presentation such that I can just keep turning up the volume more and more and it just gets better, but the Sigva PII pro is so dynamic that one must be careful with the volume control or you'll hurt your ears and THIS is the only caveat. These Sigva are great for low and mid-level volume listeners which should be a plus for must users. Tone and timber... and clarity ...and soundstage ...and bass....and imaging are first rate. Yes, these are an insane value at $404 from HifiGo.com and come in $100 less than Hifiman Ananda Nano.

Beautiful and real wood not plastic or aluminum. Swivel capability giving comfort unlike Ananda Nano. Slightly less sibilant than Nano. I'm thinking I'd rather have this than the Ananda Nano. Thank you for this review. Subscribed.

Great review I like how you went into the details of your impressions and your comparison of both the Ananda and 650. I totally wrote off the egg shape of the Hifimans I feel like I'm wearing planks on the side of my head. They could have made them more oval shaped like the Susvara. My jawline doesn't need to be part of my listening experience. The 650 really scales or changes with different amps. On a Violectric V202/V222 it gives the 650 more girthy sound and dare a say bass and soundstage. Sorry for the rant but based on your review I will definitely be purchasing the P2 Pro this coming week. What did you use to drive them DAC\Amp wise? Are those 650 modded? Those connections don't look stock. Hope to see more video reviews. Great work 👍

Thank you for your kind words. Yeah, the oval-shaped Hifiman design poses an issue for my jaw too. The HD 650 definitely scales well with amps and benefits from balanced output. I previously used a Violectric amp, which was a perfect match. Now, I enjoy them with the A90, THX 789, and Xduoo TA-30 tube amp setups. I find they sound particularly nice on tube amps at times. They're stock, but I change the earpads occasionally when they feel compressed. The cable is just a balanced one I purchased online, using the same 2-pin Sennheiser connection. For driving the P2 Pro, I've used the A90, THX 789, and G5 amps. I've noticed the sound opens up significantly more with powerful amps. I'd recommend at least 1 watt at 32 ohms. Enjoy!

@@Atechreviews Hi! Which dongle dac / portable dac / stationary dac amp would be the best for P2 PRO under $400?
@Atechreviews28 күн бұрын
@@bgcred I’m currently using the Tanchjim Luna because it sounds clean even at high volumes. But if you’re after more power, consider the FiiO KA15 (with a neutral/warm tuning) or the KA17 (neutral). Both dongles support EQ, so you can have fun customizing the sound, and they pack plenty of power. Another great option in this price range is a DAP like the Hiby R4, which drives them effectively. For a desktop setup, take a look at the SMSL RAW-MDA1 DAC/Amp. It has more than enough clean power to drive them well.

Sir which one is best planar headphone in 800 dollar budget ?
@AtechreviewsАй бұрын
It really comes down to your personal preferences and what you're after. In my opinion, both the HIFIMAN Arya Stealth and Dan Clark Aeon 2 Noir are excellent options in that price range.

How do the p2p compare to the Luan?
@AtechreviewsАй бұрын
In my opinion, the P2 Pro is a clear step up. It has much more detail, better separation, and improved bass quality. Even the soundstage is superior on the P2 Pro.
