This is what curtain side trailers here in the UK should be like, we have a very big problem with curtains getting slashed and goods been stolen from parked up trailers, obviously curtain side trailers exist because there is a need to load trailers with a fork lift truck from the sides and from ground level, and not from a loading dock 4 feet off the ground, this way the trailer could still be loaded by fork lift from the sides and no goods would be stolen once the doors are locked, also it looks very quick indeed to open and close these solid doors compared to the 20-30 minutes mucking about with curtains, it's all about the design, and this trailer has very good design.

what is the significance of the date on the top of the door? is it when the insulation needs to be replaced or what?

It depends on the insulation and refrigeration the cargo bay is intended for. The facts you can google but they're mostly FNA or FRC where i live. Very tightly monitored. The numbers on the side are month-year as far as i know.

The classification depends on what you haul. And i believe the inspection is based on cooling power and thermal losses which can be caused to poor insulation.Or insufficient cooling power.

Sujuvasti wanhaan viestiin vastaa hän. Joo ite ajelen vuosimalli 98 Scaniaa ja siinä toimii ovet paremmin ku virman uusimmissa autoissa. Totta kai ne ovet pettää jos niitä räivii ja repii eikä huolla ikinä.

Was für ein Amateur?! 2.57 min.... Der Zerreißt doch die Fasern vom Spanngurt auf der Kante der Kiste... Und wenn man die Spanngurte nur an vorgegebenen Stellen in die Schiene einsetzen kann man aber mittendrin einen braucht, muss man dann die danebenliegenden Gurte ernsthaft wieder losmachen? Weshalb verzurrt der die Kiste überhaupt schräg zur Stirnwand hin?! Niederzurren reicht doch, da formschlüssig geladen ist... Ich hoffe der darf sich nicht "Berufskraftfahrer" nennen!!! Amateur...
