Most of fans wont'ed that weird final couple. Some women does this life sad mistakes. They say no to who deserves and yes to trashes. The drama forced an happy end, but really was hard to accept it. The dream is that people start to open their heart eyes to the ones who really knows how to touch our hearts with love beyond the appearance. I know cheesy, but true. To make the drama more real , editor Kim shouldnt be a rich Ten, but he could grow in experience as she grew in emotions. Would be lovely, buuuuut...

As no one has posted for over a year and because I am new to KDrama, I’m going to give myself permission to use this as a first time fan support group post and spill out my emotions and experience watching She Was Pretty and discovering this incredible song. ❤️ My sister recommended that I watch She Was Pretty for the male lead who played the Deputy Editor. What actually happened is that I fell in love with another editor, the second male lead, I binge watched 16 episodes in 2.5 days. Don’t do the math. No joke. I was absolutely floored by your performance as Editor Kim. Here in the US, I’d say it was worthy of an Emmy. Really. You brought.to life a character who was so strong,selfless, endearing, non-judgmental, full of delightful surprises. You showed us through your acting, how Editor Kim could put his feelings and ego aside to help those struggling with their own confusions. You showed us, through the diversity of your facial expressions and sighs, how this could be done with restraint, empathy, kindness, and sternness. The agony of unrequited love is something that I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy. And everyone knows why: It is torture with an uncertain ending. So watching Editor Kim walk away, head down in his final goodbye made my whole body ache. I thought that I could find comfort in music and so I went to find the OST list. I sat up in bed: I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that Choi Siwon the actor was Choi Siwon, the singer. How moving it was it to hear your voice bring back the memory of Editor Kim through his own theme song. And that is why I’m so happy to have stumbled upon this video. In this recording, I could see how much this song meant to you. I could hear in this recording, the maturity of experience. You sang it effortlessly. It was the hug we all needed. Thank you for gifting us with this beautiful song and allowing us to see you singing this with the emotions we felt through your character. I cried watching “She Was Pretty” seeing Kim Shin Hyuk’s heart getting torn apart for being the unsung hero for all the characters in the show. I mean, he “saved” Kim Hye Jin from hating her own looks, he “saved” Min Ha Ri from her own lies, he “saved” Ji Sung Joon from not recognizing his own true love, and he “saved” the whole editorial team by revealing his identity to the public. Man, that guy sacrificed a lot and yet the writers didnt even have the decency to at least giving him better ending where he could find his own happiness. I do love the show, but i was totally disappointed by the ending they had for Shin Hyuk. And the fact that “Only You” was the song that was played as the background during all the most heartbreaking Shin Hyuk’s scenes just got me emotional rite now. Why are you doing this to my heart dear Mas Agung? 😭😭😭😭. So much love to you tho 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

MBC should create a drama and put them both (Choi Siwon and Hwang Jung-Eum) in the lead role. Choi Siwon didn’t stand a chance against Park Seo Joon here but like many others, I can’t help but to root for his character. Broke my heart when he wasn’t chosen, despite the fact that his character was the Kim Hye Jin’s light when Ji Sung Joon made her cry countless of times.🙁

I never really appreciated Siwon as a singer until i heard him sang this song. I became a SuJu fan during BlackSuit era and when i was watching an episode of SuperTV, this played as a bg. So I searched for it and got surprised that it was his song. What i liked about it is that, his voice is so raw and suits the song perfectly. And the emotions you feel when hearing this makes you realize that no one can sing this song but him. It felt like a boy next door with a huge crush on you but can't seem to confess his feelings. Lol I'm so dramatic. Sorry for that. 😂 But yeah, it's so easy to over look other members singing skills because of their amazing main vocal team. And sometimes it takes a special song to notice their talent. So in summary, SuJu needs more ballad songs.. 😂😂😂 Thank you.. 😂
