This is certainly one of my favorite waterparks I've been to. It was pretty busy that day, but that would make sense considering it was a hot Texas summer Saturday in the middle of July. I did however wait for two hours just to go down Der Stuka (because Dive Bomber was closed and they only allowed one person to go down one slide at a time) so I suggest you make that one of your first rides of the day.

I used to work here in 1990-1992. It was called Wet n Wild Back then. Loved working the late nights after the park was closed and riding all the rides at night with no one there. I used to climb up the Black Hole from the bottom. I couldn't make it past a certain part though as it was too steep. lol. The Hook's Ship and surrounding area used to be called Funsphere and had batting cages, Laser Tag and Go carts. There was also a huge arcade there too that is now called Peg Leg Petes. I remember they had a concert with Yo-Yo and Ice Cube there once also. I also remember being sent out to grab lost items like sunglasses at the Shotgun Falls drop area. I had to time my dive so I didn't get hit coming back up! haha

We are going next tuesday, and I haven't been since it was called wet n wild ( since I was pretty little) . I hope I get to try all of the slides . Great thing about Corona, the lines are short. We went to the water park at feista Texas last week and by far, our favorite ride there was rocket blast. Although, I didn't get to go on very many slides, we went on this one three times. I hope they add it to Arlington hurricane harbor. My main issue with hurricane harbor and six flags, is that there isn't a bus there from dallas. Means, I have to find someone to drive us and there are 5 of us in my family.

This used to be Wet N Wild (same owners back in the day as the defunct Orlando Park). In fact, the Der Stuka slide tower looks like a mirror image of the Bomb Bay slide tower in Orlando (when it first got built before they built blue thunder/brain wash).

But I do have to ask why Splashtown because I would've thought this one for sure since it's bigger?
