It amazes me how six flags over Texas went from being a premier park to being kinda an after thought around the 2000s-2010s. I went there this summer and I was amazed by how few enthusiasts there were. It maybe because they dont have a standout attraction. I hope this changes things because they deserve to be back at the top with the other big Dawgs in this chain

I, too, have been predicting Diablo as the new Spinsanity since they took Harley Quinn away. It just makes perfect sense. And I love the idea of connecting Gotham! THAT would help improve that whole area!

Crazy thing about El Diablo’s fate is I was saying the same thing about it becoming Harley Quinn’s Spinsanity. Especially since there is space for it, it’s a fairly new install, and the park still has the Harley Quinn theming in storage. I was joking about it early on when all was first announced, but hearing someone else say it makes it more plausible. Anyway thanks for the update and look forward to seeing more.

I was sad about La Vibora but excited about a GIGA COASTER!? This is my home park (20 minutes away) I’d love to meet you at the park and ride with you omg 😭 my husband has scoliosis so he’s my stuff holder lol

As someone with younger kids, I honestly wish six flags would get rid of the back breaking mine trains and put in a solid family friendly coaster with a longer ride time similar to big thunder mountain at Disney. Six flags seems to have rides for really young and older kids but nothing in between. My 5 year old would love a Batman themed big thunder mountain type ride.

JB, i'm excited to see this attraction go away. I quit riding this ride years ago. Its one of the most uncomfortable rides in the park. It will be nice to see six flags over Texas with new thrill coasters. This park has been neglected for a while now while other parks have gotten major improvements. I would get season passes again if this park was a priority for improvement. Great video as usual. Keep them coming.

All of my siblings worked here in the 80s and 90s. I've seen rides come and go. 🎢 My sister was in charge of the Bob Sled for a while. She even got injured while loading passengers. She slipped as she was crossing the track where you shouldn't. It cut her up pretty good🩹 but she refused to stop. My oldest brother worked there for the first Fright Night (as it was called then) 🎃he got to meet and work alongside the real Freddy Krueger and he was there for the very first holiday in the park.🎄 He was working the snow hill when he dropped a 300lb block of ice🧊 on his foot!🩼 Six Flags has a wonderful history and a few ghost stories!👻

YES! El Diablo needs to move to gatham they could totally name it something like green lanterns ring! Or something cool but totally imposible (I think) is they keep el Diablo and the new coaster goes through the circle of el Diablo!

Hey JB, avid SFOT fan and did notice the landscape was falling behind the times and even neglected. With Cedar Fair Ent. stepping in, do you see our park being tiddy up in the coming years? Or even bring that SFOT spark that has been lost the past decade or so by putting in more resources into the park as a whole? And Let's go Mavs and Rangers!

I can see them getting the first giga dive. I know we don't know too much at the time but it just makes sense to me. Six Flags is making 2026 out to be a big year. With Great Adventure getting some kind of record launch coaster and Magic Mountain getting a first of it's kind, I can absolutely see Over Texas getting the first giga dive. It also makes sense to me cause Over Texas doesn't have the height limit that many of the other parks have. We've got a 400 ft Sky Screamer, two 300+ ft attractions with the drop tower and the Oil Derrick, and two hyper sized coasters with Mr. Freeze being one of those. Also, I think they have the room for it. If they take advantage of using the picnic area AND maybe use part of the log flume area to fit in a couple of inversions that tower over the log flume, then the total space they have would be similar in size to Titans space. Maybe not all these predictions will happen but I do see them getting a giga.

I went on December 20th which was a Friday and it was not crowded at all but I went a few days later on December 23 and it was absolutely crazy. Lines were at least 45 minutes each but they did die down closer to the closing time which was nice. I'm going tomorrow and I really hope the crowds aren't too bad

:a Vibro was known as the bobsled when first put in. It was later when the name was changed. Diablo came from the old Astroworld a long with a few other rides. La Vibroa was suppose to have been removed in 2018-2019 but the pandemic changed that.

I still want to see a regular B&M Giga. Running next to the lake and Judge Roy Scream. Call The Outlaw or something. I feel USA should become DC Universe and change Pandemonium into. DC Villains ride. They could build some kind of themed walkway that leads to Superman and maybe remove Dive Bomber Alley for some flats

I think ima be pretty controversial with this take but a giga dive is the last thing this park needs. We need something that is an absolute standout for this park and a standard dive coaster that’s a few feet taller than the hundred other dive coasters doesn’t cut it for me. We needed something like an impressive multi launch coaster, or something new and innovative to make people from all over wanna come here. I’m very disappointed with this park now. Going to miss La Vibora as well. Hopefully later down the road we’ll get that true standout we need.
