Thanks for sharing this video. I was at Six Flags Over Texas just two days ago, and the train now goes in the opposite direction around the park. Texas Cliff hanger has been removed and in it's place is Tony Hawks Roller Coaster

In recent years we've brought back the live spiel. Not all of our conductors do it, but some of us do. We use the same basic structure (safety announcement at the beginning, point out all the stuff along the track, then another safety announcement and goodbye before the next station). Depending on the conductor, some of the "classic" jokes make it in the spiel, but usually we try to change it up and keep it interesting, talking about the park's history and past attractions ect.

how crazy, I noticed myself working at splashwater falls waving to the train. that is freaky! I was on the inaugural crew when that ride opened

Hold on the train was starting at boomtown now they just putted starting at johnson creek

aw, i miss the "Avalanche Bobsled" theme for that ride. going to SFOT is a yearly event for me and family/friends.

Wonder if they still basically use that same speech or if it's been changed over the years. I would of been been 8 back in '87, but my family use to go quite often. I remember getting so tired of that whole routine after hearing it a couple million times, but now it's amusing to me again. Thanks for the upload Daryl

Yeah, same here far as the Bobsled theme
