Of course, what would have been even better would be if the international community had put some pressure on Israel to stop stealing Palestinian land and to prevent them from effectively keeping Palestinians in the giant open-air prison camps called "Gaza" and the "West Bank." First off, it was ass of ham who started this current predicament. It was them who decided a brilliant strategy would be to abduct such a large number of people. This was planned. And they knew what the response would be. They knew it and still did it. Start by holding the correct party responsible. They were capable of building so many tunnels but didn't bother to let their own people use them to get to safety? Or how about, build some shelters since they were literally planning a war. No matter that this group kept on with targeting regular ppl in isrl for years. How do you think ALL the conflicts keep starting? Actually when dealing with terrorist confronting them too aggressively they would have killed the hostages. This was a major intelligence failure by israel underestimating their enemies. It is east to blame everyone else but that is the reality. Most.countries did condemn hamas in the days after this happened.
