Every reviewer misses the slide out larder next to cooker and the pull out drawer under the fridge.. They add a lot of useful kitchen food storage..

Both motor homes are great. The shower in the first one is huge, but the second one is equally nice.

The next best option to a rear lounge is a front lounge using swivel seats to optimise maximum space and overhead cabin bed.

Hi Alan,,As soon as I saw it was the Harmony line,, I was like Yeah!! These are well made at a fabulous value for 1.5 (pet) or 2,, no more. Just a darling Coach!! :) The Lounge seats lift up for storage silly. lol P.S. Alan put a bike rack on the back of coach and stop complaining. XD

The 1st one is the better motorhome. I don't understand having a drop down bed when the design should be having the lounge become the bed, it's a waste of space, but Europeans seem to love these drop down beds.

Does the lounge in the Burstner convert into a double bed as well as having the drop down pre made bed? It seems like that would explain the 4belted seating positions.

Yes it does, which is one reason why the table is as large as it is.. It drops down and the it's cushion tetris time.. This means the drop down bed can't come down as low so you need a longer ladder.

@@kmac499 we are thinking of buying one for 2 of us and a dog. How do you find yours? Our biggest worry is climbing the ladder to get in to bed.

If you remove the lounge side cushions the bed can go even further down where you dont need the ladder 🙂. But u def can skeep or use underneath dog might still fit though 🙂

@@kbrownph2 We have 2+Dog my beloved prefers to sleep 'downstairs with the dog..I sleep upstairs (Puts me in my place) She made a DiY-vulay. We don't drop the bed as fardown and we bought a slightly longer step ladder. So no problems at all (I'm 66yo )

Great van.I always prefer ones like this with drop down beds as you get more living space.A fixed bed takes up too much room when all you do is sleep on it.Mind you a fixed bed at the back usually gives you a garage at the back which is great for bike storage etc.

Maybe it's down to whether your driving a bedroom round? For me the lounge is still basically a dinette, but then you have to eat somewhere

I prefer a rear lounge and overhead cab bed with a van six metres long, large rear lounge makes the van feel far more spacious and less claustrophobic and your separating your sleeping quarters from living quarters.

Maybe there's space under the lounge seats to keep bedding. If only they made up into another bed for a child, say.

1. The forward-facing seat in the lounge would be better off as a combination of more storage and/or steps to get into the bed and/or kitchen prep area 2.; Unless there is a required locking mechanism I can see the users putting the bed up with the bedding in place and just keeping it dropped down by a few inches

Hi Alan. You keep saying in your videos on drop-down beds in lounge that one would have make the bedding every night and in this video, that you might have to put the bedding in the pantry. Have you verified this? I find it somewhat unlikely that a ladder which I'm guessing is about 5-7cm deep can fit while bedding can not. I assume the bedding will compress, if it has to

You probably would not be leaving the ladder on the bed but storing it somewhere else!

Yes Manual crank is there but apparently it's a pain to use by hand..

i don't think that's a wet room. i'd say it's a dry room with toilet and sink and a separate shower. i would not spray water in the toilet area.

Great van, you reviewed it new here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWjXd4aVp6ujpZY I found that as I wanted to see the external lockers! I think some types of folding bike would fit in one or other garage fine. I liked this as the skylights are well placed, it's similar to the 6m Swift Escape. I think the lounge forms a slightly lumpy double so it can sleep 4 and a summer duvet would squash up there so no need to store bedding. I really like these 6m motorhomes simply because you get the living space of a 7.5-8m van in 6m, lighter, cheaper, easier to park. Bags of storage too, cupboards everywhere!! Big lounges rock, I only have a dinette in my PVC but I've been in some coachbuilts that don't have more as a queen bed bedroom eats up all the space.

Hi Allan To me it’s a ridiculous waste of good space ... why don’t they make them for single people who don’t want to seat six people. Bathrooms great but all that lounge space could have been incorporated into the kitchen. Also winder about the steam in bathroom making clothes damp but if not then a great idea.

Two seats are forward facing belted travel seats. with the Truma and water underneath The one behind the UK passenger is the battery box big enough to take two and a small inverter A bridge cushion between these makes the L sofa (Remove for passenger 4 knee room) The small side bench is over the small front outside locker and the seat lifts to give access. So it's more a case of cushions above stuff than seats for the sake of it. The only thing I would change in ours is to have a folding table top. Even though it does the usual x-y slide it can still be squeeze sometimes

@@kbrownph2 Not a problem We use it double decked. My beloved and the dog sleep downstairs (she's mad a diy-valay) and I'm upstairs(i'm 66yo), with the bed only halfway down. We bought a small stepladder for the extra height You should have no problem with the bed fully down. have a look on youtube for a 585 review from a few years ago. Burstner supplied a billiant ladder with fold out treads.

@@kbrownph2 I think it's great we had a shortlist of 6m Vans (driveway limit.) Rapido, pilote,roller team.. the 590 had wide door double floor the bed is full size not frenched, central locking loads of storage awning step leather and it just felt spacious and light. Ok it cost a bit more but worth it.
