How exactly? Size? Power? Is that all? They played against the *equivalent* to the same power and size as the men do in their game. The game is the same, same rules, same skills, same pressures to succeed (more sometimes in that they have to justify their very participation to certain types), same problems to overcome. Joe Schmidt never played rugby at an International level or indeed the top pro level, Having not played 'in the same stratosphere' as those he coaches, does he have no insights into the game because of that? Women who have played for their country have insights into international pressures that most men who play the game never will. Indicate one thing they said here that was wrong.

@@LFire12 no, and it’s not to take away from them, but far fewer women play the game, with less funding and it’s less competitive - that’s completely aside from the gender differences which are not relevant to my point. The six nations, for example, is objectively just a more elite level than these ladies have ever played at.

Lindsay Peat is a former player, who won 33 caps for Ireland. James Downey is a former rugby professional who played once for Ireland. Two ex-players.
