Man I know I say I hate this format but its been the funnest also knowing that and types of decks are either very playable or somewhat playable with some work. Synchro, xyz, fusions and even some rituals.

Interesting play keeping your six Sam United on the field for counters instead of the plus in cards. Never really thought about it like that. The fuel spell helps a lot with counters especially if you have it turn one.

I have played six Sams from the very beginning to even now this is incredible and honestly a work of art i am very impressed with your creativity and pushing the deck to its absolute limits is quite lovely to see, my hope is one day you can make a competitive samurai deck.

Kinda brings me back to the last time I actually played ( when trishula released and everyone went insane) I was playing Sam's and it was cool either turn 1 trishula brionic loops or shien stardust dragon and that rank 4 roach monster that negates special summons I think??

Going 2nd is always a struggle, but essentially: 1) Called by the Grave helps with negating hand traps 2) You check for hand traps based on how your cards interact with opponent delays E.g. If you activate Shien's Smoke Signal and there's a delay, it's Ash Blossom If there's a delay when you have a monster on the field, it's either Infinite Impermanence or Effect Veiler Knowing the types of delays lets you attempt to bait the opponent into negating the wrong card. If you know they have Ash Blossom, it's beneficial to summon Isolde first to bait the negate > follow up with Battle Shogun for Gateway and win. If the opponent has multiple hand traps (e.g. Sky Strikers), then it becomes extremely difficult to play through them. Hopefully this helps!

Codebreaker is purely there to send monsters like Saryuja to the GY for Daigusto to return it to the extra deck

Too bad using this for a real deck, only allows you to use 1 Trishula, and 1 called by the grave. Is there an alternative for it, even though its the limit?

I imagine you could still pull it off, but it you'd need 2 Daigusto Emeral to recycle Trishula + Saryuja + Emeral #1

Actually, Trishula is Unlimited in TCG. The replacement I found was running a second Succession instead of the second CbtG.

Ash Blossom hits Battle Shogun the hardest. If you use it on Gateway, it only negates that single instance. The real out to Six Sam is Droll & Lock Bird.
