Super Poly can be activated in the Draw Phase before Zexal can respond since the turn player has priority. Impermanence followed by Dark Ruler No More also shuts down the board. That being said, if you can't get rid of the cards holding counters, it probably doesn't matter.

That argument is only valid if you can actually fuse off the zexal which the board I clearly engineered to protect zexal from superpoly. Youre only targets are beat and barkion. After the superpoly resolves I can activate zexal at anytime from that point before entering MP1. Imperm will obviously get negated. I'm failing to see how DRNM is resolving because the only way you stop zexal is by hitting it with super poly, which isn't possible cause I didn't leave two lights on field

@@jameeljohnson19 Super Poly for Gaiastrio or Exterio with Beast and Barkion, attack over the Zexal, carry on. If this deck ever becomes a problem, which it won't, it will get countered into the ground by things you never thought of. That's how the game has always worked.

Now I did say on multiple occasions that Samurai as a deck won't be a real threat let alone a tier one contender as long as gateway is still limited. And quite frankly I wouldn't want it to be tier 1. Simply so nothing in the deck gets hit on the F/L list XD

Some dude was trying this BS on Monday’s tournament and got wasted so badly he dropped out before the 3rd round. If you plan to use this strategy have a realistic expectation of what it’s really going to accomplish and how often you’ll be able to do it. Oh don't get it twisted I'm fully aware it isn't going to be tier 1. It didn't do anything it's 1st weekend and great general is a choke point. That being said there are obviously things you can play such as left arm offerings/eagle boosters for when your general gets met with hand traps. All the same, the biggest root issue being the deck relying too hard on general resolving won't really get better until gateway goes up to multiples

Play veiler or impermanence on the first isolde. If all you have is ash, then ash the summon to field effect of isolde. If you have ogre, then ogre the gateway but it's best if you can somehow bait potential Called by the grave.

I tried it while general was still ocg and the boards are so insane! But there’s still a choke point in the combo that if stopped, your turn is most likely done.

Which we all know is the great general itself seeing as how we still don't have 3 gateways so we realistically have only one way to get access to it. And because that method of access happens to be a monster, it's alot easier to get stopped. That's why we also play left arm to add 3 more copies of gateway to our deck

Well for starters most stopped hand trapping cards like isolde since great generals release. It's all hands on deck to stop gateway from getting to hand. And even if they succeed you have cards like left arm offering to get gateway to hand anyway. Even if the kaigeki is threatened it's not the biggest deal when you have 3 called by the grave along with triple kizan and grand master

Here's a three card combination my deck has that can beat your board.You need dinowrestler pankratops,ultimate conductor tyranno and a random dino you can normal summon.Normal summon the dino,special summon pankratops,link em for pentestag,banish both dinos in gy and summon conductor tyranno, attack with tyranno the whole board since zexal doesnt stop continuous effects.You're left with 300lp and no board. You need a way to negate summons to make your board truly unbeatable.Or be lucky to draw your called by the grave. Still I love your idea.

I took this deck down using dark magicians also it depends on the die roll hoping you go first and your opponent dont have the following hand traps or sonething: impermanence veiler dimension shifter nibiru ash ogre (mirror wise cherry) dark ruler no more going into an evenly kaiju sphere mode . If opponent going first pray to lord that he doesn't have crackdown or any virus cards like deck devastation full force eradicator grinning grave

All those hand traps are neutralized if you play engage and eagle booster. Also nibiru is no problem at all. There's a reason you play shadow of the six Samurai in tandom with emeral. Dark ruler no more isn't even a factor because you have utopic zexal.

I have played about every form of six sams, even got exodia and six shinobi to trigger turn one in tournaments but if someone stops you at the start of the combo its game over

Well for starters I think everyone would go all hands on deck for great general. I've said this in a video last week. You just need to have back up ways ie left arm, and other methods to stopping hand traps to make sure you get to gateway. Gateway is at one so unfortunately the deck revolves entirely around general resolving. And on another not regarding my list looking similar to team bios. I'm not sure if you're aware just how many mandatory cards are necessary to play in Sam's, and just how few flex spots there really are. So you may say most of the lists look the same but that's because you're trying to max out on your good Samurai monsters and maximize on your Bushido counters. Which take up at least 30 main deck slots. And you still gotta play equips for isolde. So really you only got about 5 flex spots to work with

You can really say you've beaten a board with hand traps because technically the board was never made. Can't beat something that was never put up to begin with. And also you play through nibiru with the greatest of ease. That's why you play shadow of the six Samurai format very good reason
